House vacation rentals in Adams County

House was very remote, but there was a small store about 10 min away for essentials. We planned our meals, shopping and excursions in advance, so we really didn't need to make any special trips. House was huge and had everything we could of needed. The Co-Host reached out to us a couple of times about mowing and opening the pool, making sure we were OK with it. We had a beautiful rainbow 🌈 to admire and the serenity of the home was exactly what we needed to reset. On the last night our Co-Host brought us a homemade Strawberry pie. I highly recommend this rental for anybody looking to sit back, relax and enjoy the quietness of the area.

Beautiful home just minutes from Hersheypark. Slept 7 adults comfortably with great outdoor Pool and BBQ. Would stay in again.

This BnB is in contention for my FAVORITE stay of all time. Family of 6 adults and 1 child had more than enough space, and Jeanne really made our stay effortless. We felt right at home and we didn't have to make that last minute trip to the store you sometimes have to make bc the host skimped on providing toilet paper or dish soap, because she honestly thought of EVERYTHING ❤️ My granddaughter loved the pool and dips in the hot tub after swimsmade the adults happy. The location and view are to die for, and the two pups were ecstatic playing in the large fenced area. We spent a lot of time outside, plenty of furniture, fire pit, just eating dinner on the deck. (Missing NOTHING in the kitchen either!) Our last night we spent sitting and talking on the deck trying to identify the multitude of frog voices from the pond, before we parted ways to our various home states. I am most grateful for memories made and we are definitely considering a repeat! ❤️Thank you!

We were in the area for a FORD car show in Carlisle and the location was great. Very peaceful. Be sure to check out the King's Bakery there nearby.

Great for a big group of adults and kids who wanted to spend time in the Hershey area! Close enough to the park and attractions, lots of restaurants nearby, grocery store, CVS, etc. The bed (master) was very comfortable. Everyday amenities such as coffee maker, toaster, etc. which was helpful. Outdoor area is really nice - Tim was great about trying to get the pool open in time and then the weather didn't really cooperate anyway, but the kids still loved sitting by the step and splashing their feet. Highly recommend!

Brooks’ place proved to be perfect for a party of 11, including 4 boys aged 7-12. The interior was spotless and perfectly functional. The back yard (including the pool) was simply outstanding. Brooks himself was a terrific host whose messages were always helpful and considerate. Mechanicsburg itself is close to Gettysburg and some beautiful parks. No hesitation at all recommending this outstanding house and model host.

Our stay at Christina's place was great! The location can't be beat - easy walk to the town square and lots of restaurants and shops. The house was so clean and thoughtfully stocked. Especially great for coffee (and tea) lovers - lots of options to choose from. If we have the opportunity to come back again, I will bring an eye mask, as the rooms were still fairly light with the blinds down. and earplugs for sirens from the fire station across the street.

We had a great stay! The home and property were absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. We didn’t have a need to contact the host during our visit, but everything was smooth and well-prepared. One of our favorite parts was the koi pond — such a lovely touch! We were a little bummed there wasn’t any food available to feed the fish, but it was still a joy to watch them. The water fountains were also a nice touch and did a great job masking any nearby road noise. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

Chris's home is beautiful. Very well updated and clean. We appreciated all of the Civil War era art pieces and books. Chris was a great host, providing very timely communication and excellent local recommendations. Great location that is easily walkable to central plaza area. We highly recommend.

Amazing location in the mountains. Great location to everything we needed during our stay as we were back and forth to Gettysburg, Emmitsburg, Mount St. Mary and Thurmont. I’ve stayed in well over twenty AirBNB places, and none were as welcoming as Kent’s beautiful home just outside of Gettysburg. Upon entering the house, we were greeted by a delicious plate of chocolate chip cookies! The house is located on a farm, perfectly distanced from Gettysburg, roughly fifteen minutes away. The house has a very classic and older feel to it, fitting perfectly, the nature of our visit to Gettysburg. The house has plenty of rooms, secret staircases to the upstairs bedrooms, whimsically painted rooms, an upstairs balcony, indoor and outdoor seating form meals and goats!!! Did I mention the goats??? The goats quickly became our favorite memory from our stay, as we made friends with these little guys pretty early into our stay. I would gladly stay here again, and highly recommend anyone seeking a wonderful and roomy AirBNB near Gettysburg to stay here as well.

This place was fantabulous!!!! Perfect location to Gettysburg. The experience was wonderful and coming back to a beautiful view and clean place made the trip all that much better. We will definitely share this location and stay again if we are in the area. Thank you so very much.

We had a great stay, the view is awesome overlooking the orchard and small valley. I would recommend staying here if in the area.

This was the second time we stayed at this house for a family gathering. As it was 2 years ago, this was a great place to enjoy a winter weekend. The house is easy to get to, very clean, with comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen was easy to get around, and the fire pit outside near the lake was great for us. All in all, a 5 out of 5 for all of us, and we'll definitely come back.

This Airbnb, which includes the entire house, is so beautiful, peaceful, and squeaky clean! Such a wonderful place to stay. The rolling green front yard and backyard are private and quiet. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. One of the best Airbnb‘s I’ve ever stayed in. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We were in town for a volunteer event and the property was perfect for us! As an old farmhouse, it had the feel of Gettysburg. (IYKYK) The interior was clean and the books and memorabilia really added to the stay. It is within earshot of a major highway, but with the air conditioners on we never noticed. Also, the bedroom layout worked great for us, but two of them are connected with the only way to the second one is through the first. Not an issue for us, but if you had 3 couples staying, just be aware. We loved the spot and the convenience to the battlefield and town. The multiple, spacious sitting rooms were great to unwind after long days. We will definitely stay here again without hesitation!! Greg was a great host. Very responsive throughout the entire process!

The home was beautiful, clean, cozy, and quiet. It had kitchen cookware and utensils as well as a bbq grill and accessories. There was a washer and dryer with soap and dryer sheets which was nice. Blow dryers in the bathrooms and lots of towels and TP! Everything was laid out for us on the table with easy to follow instructions which made using the appliances a breeze. We toured various places and enjoyed our time in PA. Thank you for opening up your home to us!

Beautiful historic house that's walkable to a coffee and sandwich shop. It was set up very well for being an older house. we would definitely stay there again.

From the minute we arrived, we felt at home. Anita's home was exactly as described; welcoming, comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you needed to cook a full meal. Super comfortable sofa and the beds were extremely comfortable as well.
