It was a really nice place and stood up to what was described!

The place is wonderful, better than the expected!

The place was very nicely decorated but unfortunately the area is very noisy at night so we had problems cooling the room. Otherwise, very nice and lots of parking.

Very difficult to park You have to have breakfast outside, it would be convenient to have coffee cups with milk, dessert plates, toaster, electric kettle and electric coffee maker, since for cooking it has all the utensils Everything else is very good and everything is newly equipped, bathroom, kitchen, washing machine!!! Etc….

I have stayed in many places. Massimo's place is by far the best. He takes great care of the guests and is very kind and welcoming. His place has everything you need and it is very clean and spacious. He has thought about all the details so his place is very well equipped. He is also very good at providing information and is excellent at communication. Thank you for everything we will be definitely be back again.

The apartment is very wonderful - we enjoyed every moment ,very clean and complete and its location is more than great , very safe as no one can go up to the apartment without a special key for the elevator . Miss Jennifer was waiting for us in front of the building , she is a very nice person and went up with us to the apartment and gave us all the information we needed . She prepared a file related to the apartment and all the restaurants and shops and their locations in the town , she was with me by message about anything I need . I will come back next year and repeat living in the same apartment.

Luca responded super quickly and was very friendly - the view from the 11th floor is really fantastic in the evening - the location was also very good - even found a place in front of the house for our camper (Ducato). I think we found the best solution for our spontaneous Milan trip. Thank you Luca.

Excellent location 25 minutes from the airport And 45 minutes from Milan The apartment is clean and has everything. Vera is a friendly person and is in constant contact with me I highly recommend staying there

The stay was just perfect! The apartment was clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need. The area is quiet and well connected. The host was very kind and helpful. I was really super satisfied – everything went great! Highly recommended!

The “Hydrangea Villa” at the very top of Villa Monti was a dream to stay in. The views were outstanding and all the windows open to hear the birds singing and allow cool breezes to flow thru (there is an excellent A/C system in this upper space as well). The downstairs bedroom & bath was just as clean, but not as cool as the “tower”. Communication pre-arrival was prompt and the onsite manager “MG” is friendly, attentive, knows Varenna well and gave us great suggestions for dinners & hikes ( do not miss hiking to the cemetery, waterfall and castle)! He carried our ( heavy!) bags up the 99 steps to our room- thank you MG!! The pool, although small was very refreshing and the area around it so pleasant to sit and gaze over Lake Como while drinking wine. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Villa Monti to anyone traveling to beautiful Varenna.

I wasn't able to attend my AirBnB because of the transit worker strike. But, I had to write a review for her level of care and customer service. She was patient with me the whole time and kept in contact every step of the way. I may not have gotten the living experience, But the customer service and care s a 10 out of 10!

The place itself is very comfortable and had everything you need. The view of lake Como is stunning and location was great. Easy walk to shops, bus and ferry station. Denis is very proactive and helped us with finding another accommodation due a mix up of dates on our behalf. Would highly recommend to stay at this lovely apartment.

We had a lovely time- With a beautiful view, which was worth the sweat up and down the stairs. Kathi's guidebook is so helpful and we had the best Lake Como swim just a few steps away! We managed to still work remotely, the WIFI was stable enough for video calls, and the apartment is equipped with everything you need for a 5 star stay! If Daisy had an elevator & AC I would've given her 10 stars!

Super cute place. Nadia and her husband were extremely welcoming and helpful. We rode on her husband’s ferry to Lenno and he brought us up in the cockpit. From Lenno we walked to Balbianello (Star Wars, Casino Royale). Don’t bother with guided tour, just walk the gardens. We also rented a boat for a couple hours. Como was the boys’ favorite stop on this trip and much thanks to Nadia.

Anna's place is perfect to spend a few days in the area. The views are fantastic and the area is beautiful and quiet. The apartment has everything you need to cover basic needs. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Yrina and her kind daughter, who told us everything we needed for our stay. Anna left us pasta and homemade tomato sauce that was delicious. Also homemade jam (incredibly good), butter, honey, bread, milk, juice, yogurt, fruit... a nice welcome touch that is much appreciated if you arrive a little late and have nowhere to go to buy or dine. We are very happy with our stay in the apartment and if we return on vacation to the area we will definitely repeat in Anna's apartment. Thank you very much.

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

Great, great place! And as important (more?), I great, great host! Marco is one of the truly great hosts! Location was great, place was spotless and equipped beyond expectations! I had lost my razor along the way, and to my amazement, there was an individually wrapped "shaving kit", along with other little kits of things people forget! I honestly don't recall more comfortable sleeps than my nights here! All around truly one of the best! Highly, highly recommended!

This apartment is so big, you feel like you’re in a pent house suite. We loved this place. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen, the deck is beautiful. We were nervous about the drive and parking. Parking was fine, no issues. Yes it is a tight squeeze - but it’s Italy, driving in general is a tight squeeze. It’s easier than other reviews have made out to be. The accomodation is further up the hill and back from the town. The drive takes about 13 minutes. Not a scary drive, just a slow one with so many turns. We loved the location as it was already so busy in town that we felt like we got to escape the crowds. You would want a car here for sure. You can’t walk down to the town. And parking and driving around was easy, not as busy as you think it would be because everyone is taking ferry’s not driving. So we were able to drive down and park and go for dinner or breakfast easily. Highly recommend this place.

The home was very welcoming, clean, and beautifully rustic. The house is in a quiet location with a lovely view of the lake, and the directions we were given allowed to get there with no problem. Also, we were greeted by fresh eggs, juice, sweets, sparkling wine and other gifts at the place, which is very nice and commendable. Any recommendations for this place if you want a quiet and enjoyable vacation, we felt right at home.

Absolutely incredible place. We didn’t want to leave the apartment! The view is probably the best we have ever seen. Mattie and Els are great, the flat was clean. We cooked a couple nights and sat out on the balcony enjoying the view. There’s lots of information which will help. We were able to walk down to the town using their advice through a footpath and also the free bus service is extremely helpful, especially when you’ve had a couple bottles of wine! Would definitely recommend. Thank you Mattie and Els!
