Renovated Walzer house 15 mins by car from Alagna

Our chalet is a renovated "Walzer" style barn. We are a Belgian family with 3 children and a dog and love this remote quiet place in the Valsesia valley. We enjoy hiking in the mountains or just walking in the valley or swimming in the river that passes by on the back of our house. We love skiing in the nearby "Monte Rosa" or "Alpe di Mera" Ski domains (15 or 10 minutes respectively by car) and enjoy cooking with local produce savoring local wines (Gattinara, Ghemme, Barbaresco, Barolo, ...)

On the hills, among woods, meadows, cultivated fields and fruit trees, inside the Ticino Park, stands the Cascina Ronco dei Lari, which origins date back to 1700, renovated in 2022. You can appreciate the calm of the place, immerse yourself in nature, practice sports and enjoy moments of rural life just a stone's throw from Lake Maggiore and 40 minutes from Milan. Our small house is a comfortable and charming 45 m2 studio apartment with an equipped kitchenette, a sofa bed with a king-size memory mattress, a Finnish sauna room (extra fee is requested) completely covered with linden wood and heated with a wood-burning stove (as in real and authentic Finnish saunas), a bathroom with a shower and a bucket for the fresh water cascade. Outside, there is a large green space with a swimming pool, canopy and barbecue.
