Chalet vacation rentals in Gatineau

Lovely cottage with direct access to a beautiful lake. The cottage does a great job of making you feel right at home and is well stocked for everything you need to enjoy your stay away from the city. We comfortably fit and slept 12 people for the whole weekend with no issues on check in. Serge himself was responsive and informative any time I had to reach out to him. I would definitely recommend! We will be back for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at J.C.'s cottage. We were 2 families, 9 people in total. There was plenty of room for us and lots of water toys and activities. The lake was serene - we paddled, kayaked, and swam all day. The hill down to the water is steep (as described in the listing), but very do-able and worth the walk. The cottage was well equipped and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were very responsive. Without hesitation, we recommend both the hosts and the cottage.

A great cabin on a lovely property with beautiful views and in an area we love—so much nature to explore & nearby small towns to enjoy unique local fare & culture. The cabin has all the amenities to be comfortable & feel right at home. Martin is absolutely great—always responsive, excellent, clear instructions. This was my second stay & I hope to be back again next year!

We enjoyed our stay at Jeff's place. The cottage is thoughtfully designed with lots of natural light, pleasant wall art and two balconies to observe the lake and tree canopy. The cottage was minimally equipped but very neat & tidy. We took the provided canoe for a nice ride to explore the lake and its islands. Overall a nice spot to get away from the city.

What a gem! Josee was wonderful- very responsive and helpful. Place was clean and just as you saw in the pictures; we felt at home right away! Loved our stay and will be telling friends and family about it!

Amazing property and hosts. Erin & Sadique were extremely responsive and answered all our questions. They even provided a high chair for my daughter on request. The property is expansive and you will truly feel like you have a private lake. The living room is so spacious and the wood makes it feel cozy despite the big size. The rooms are top notch much much better than your average Air BnB sinking mattresses. The bathroom in the main bedroom on the ground floor is just amazing. Our group made full use of the hot tub, easily accommodated 5 at a time and was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this place!

I’ve used Airbnb for 15 yrs and this is the first time I’m giving 5 stars across the board. This was a family trip with young kids for spring break so being close to Mont Cascade and Edelweiss was fantastic. We will be booking this again! This place would also be great for a girls retreat with a hot tub, sauna, lots of towels and pillows, and the bonus is swings for IG photoshoots 😄

Great spot for our group of friends! The dock and balconies are gorgeous & the hosts are super friendly and responsive :) cottage is the most well-stocked airbnb I’ve stayed in, with plenty of linens & kitchen essentials!

Communication with host is Philippe is superb. It's a nice and cozy chalet located on a lake shore. Frontyard is a small private sandy beach. Kayaks are the best!!! Kids spent whole day fishing (and caught a couple of big ones). 3 bedrooms could accomodate 6 people. Dogs are allowed. Lot's or board games. There is a convenience store ~4km away to stock up with almost everything you may have left at home. We really liked the place and would suggest visiting this nice chalet.

The house was clean and cozy, with fresh towels, clean bed linen, and plenty of kitchenware. The self check-in process was smooth and convenient. All appliances were in good working order, which made our stay even more comfortable. Thank you very much to the hosts for the warm hospitality and attention to detail. We would be happy to recommend this place and would gladly return in the future!

It was the perfect location for a group of friends to catch up. Access to the river, Gatineau Park and so many activities in the area.

We had a wonderful fall weekend get away. James cottage was perfect for what we wanted. Quiet, great view of the lake, nice toasty fire inside for the cool nights. We had a nice weekend! We will book again.

We had a wonderful time at Le Chalet Grosleau! The location is peaceful and scenic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cottage itself is well-equipped with great amenities—we especially enjoyed the pool table, games, and the access to boats and life jackets for outdoor fun. The hosts, Felix and Abdul, were very responsive and provided clear instructions for everything, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. The place was clean and welcoming, and the Wi-Fi and kitchen facilities were a bonus. Highly recommend this cottage for families or groups looking to unwind and enjoy nature.
