what a wonderful place The Orchard is to stay, stunning countryside views and so cosy and comfortable, very relaxing. Good area to be able to travel around and visit the various lakes and towns. some lovely local pubs/restaurants. Highly recommend to friends and family.

We had a lovely stay; the location is wonderful, surrounded by farmland with baby lambs overlooking the seating area! The apartment is very well specced and looked after, with a small garden house further up the hill opposite and an amazing river a short walk across the fields where we went for a swim. The photos do not do the property justice, it is a gem. Would definitely come back to use as a quiet base to explore the lakes from again.

Lovely stay in Endmoor, great place to get to Kendal and Windermere and my favourite Grasmere. Lovely that owners left a small bottle and Kendal Mint Cake for us. Lovely, hope to visit again.

Such a wonderful place to stay - extremely peaceful and so easy to get to surrounding areas. The decor was beautiful and it was so clean - Derek was so helpful beforehand with recommendations for local food and clear instructions with everything needed. Everything you might need has been thought about ☺️ we hope to come back soon!
