Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Gasselte

We stayed in this beautiful and spacious cottage for the second time. Anything you need is present. The location is perfect. You can enjoy hiking and/or cycling in the area. We walked the 4-day from Exloo and from Valthe easy to reach. Kim is a nice hostess who is attentive and helpful.

The stay at Jaap's was great. The place was just as described, clean and tidy. I've been to Jaap's place twice and would go a third time.

Together with my partner, we had a very relaxed weekend. With the beautiful weather, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the BBQ! Cottage is fine, equipped with everything except a freezer. The surroundings are super nice. Quiet place and view of the storks, which was also very special. The contact with Herman went very well, responds quickly and very friendly. All in all had a wonderful weekend and repeatable!

Wonderful weekend in Dwarsgracht, despite the rain We had a fantastic weekend in the cottage on the Dwarsgracht, despite the weather not always cooperating. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, and the location is beautiful — even with rain it is enjoyable in this area. What really made the stay special was Eva's hospitality. She was incredibly relaxed and open, even with our animal gang. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It's so nice when you come somewhere and find that you are not only tolerated, but really seen and appreciated. Thank you Eva, for your warmth and hospitality! We'd love to come back — hopefully with some more sun next time. 🌦️🐾

This was the most beautiful spot we have stayed at. The location and surrounding were so peaceful. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos.

Overall, we enjoyed it very much. The surroundings are very quiet and you can relax perfectly. It takes some time for the hot tub to be really hot, but it's worth the wait. 😊 Nothing was missing in the apartment. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the bed as it was pretty saggy. Of course, it is still convenient for a weekend. Really recommend!!!

A nice location, great starting point for cycling, hiking, visiting places. If you stay in Others, it seems to us as if we are staying in the Arnhem Open Air Museum. We also come from that area. Check-in was straightforward and all the important information was super prepared. The highlight is the view over the water and the terrace, from which you can directly access the lake via a ladder. We were already there for the second time and would be happy to come back.

The Blue House is really something very special. Mieke and Arnold have decorated it very nicely and it is perfectly equipped! I immediately felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! If I ever come back to Giethoorn, I will definitely want to stay here again 🥰

Dear Hosts, We were warmly welcomed. Everything was sufficiently explained/ shown to us and the herb garden at the house was also at our disposal. We were also immediately helped with the bike search, Auke took care of everything and took us to the bike rental by car. The homemade apple juice (very tasty) and the fresh eggs were a lovely gesture. We felt very comfortable with the two of them!

Niko’s Garden house is a very special place to stay in the residential area close to centre of Groningen. It is surrounded by blocks of houses, still provides an island of peace and real retreat after heavy day of sightseeing, walking… Niko was very helpful and supportive during our visit, and we would highly recommend his house to travelers who prefer an authentic accommodation experience as an alternative to hotel room. We greatly enjoyed this stay. It is a beautiful cottage with fantastic views. Breakfast is perfect. Furthermore, we also experienced the contact with Jitske as very pleasant. Tips: go bubbling in the jacuzzi, rent bikes to explore the area and take a walk through the Barefoot Path! We will definitely come back 😇

My wife and I booked this accommodation because we had a Motorrij Experience at TT-Assen. We were pleasantly surprised with this cool house, highly recommended in the summer at tropical temperatures in NL. The space is artistically decorated and also soothing. The living room has a spacious sitting area, a nice kitchen block, a sofa set. The bathroom is spacious with glass wall, partition between shower and toilet. The bedroom is nice and spacious and has a good bed. We woke up rested to go to the motorcycle experience. When we came back in the afternoon, we sat in the garden for another hour. The garden is pure nature with lots of greenery and flowers. For us, it was a great weekend. Regards, Guido and Oesha

We spent 4 nights at this place, and absolutely loved it! The location is in the country along a canal. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. What a gem! I highly recommended this place to others!

Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

A lovely little apartment in the centre of the city.

Beautiful location and really nice, we were allowed to use two bicycles and a canoe, which was great. We were in Groningen in about 45 minutes by bike.

We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Christel’s place; she and her husband are very kind people; they responded quickly to all our requests and were very helpful. The apartment is comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the quietness of the area. It is definitely a place we are recommending!
