VILLA AGNESE Villa Agnese is within walking distance from the historical centre of Sarnano, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy. Its privileged location, 530 metres above sea level, in the Sibillini National Park, offers stunning views of the surrounding village and hills. The centre can be reached in five minutes and a large variety of delicious specialties can be found at the local stores. For those who prefer relaxing in the shade of a luscious garden, there are games such as a ping-pong table, foos-ball, and a barbecue where you can enjoy all kinds of meat or vegetables available at the local market or in the many butcher’s in the village. In the villa, which has been recently restored in the style of an old country house dating back to the beginning of the nineteenth century, comprises two identical large apartments (170 sq. meters wide), located at ground and first floor. In each flat all modern facilities are available, and the spacious dining room (85 sq. metres wide) from where you have direct access to the garden (ground floor) or a wonderful view of the village, is ideal for big groups or large families (up to 10 people) wanting to experience the beauties of this oasis of quietness. Sarnano and its close back country are offer a large variety of cultural, artistic, culinary, and sport events. It is a 60 sqm annex suitable for couples who want to visit our region. We don't have a swimming pool but we have the truffle ground, the stream, the roe deer, porcupines, wild boars, our cats and the little dog Moti. In the garden, you will find herbs, fruit, and garden produce. Inside the cottage we rent, you will have our olive oil and helichrysum liqueur that we produce. We also produce saffron, but we sell it! Of course, pets are welcome!

We spent a wonderful Christmas in Barbel’s place. A wonderfully clean and warm house with everything needed for a cosy winter stay. The pool went unused but we will try to come back in the summer - the view is spectacular! Beds were super comfortable and Barbel quick on the replies and checked regularly to make sure we were okay and had no issues. Car obviously necessary but Montelparo only a few minutes away with a nice pizzeria and other amenities.

excellent hospitality from Michela and co-host Gianni who helped us take conscious possession of the house and useful outdoor spaces. varied and numerous supply of bathroom and kitchen materials for consumption excellent operation of gas, electricity, H2O heating view of the Sibillini chain, Mount Piselli and Gran Sasso very quiet area with excellent air and base for excursions to Mount Sibilla, Lake Pilato, the Infernaccio gorges, the hermitage of San Leonardo, and visit to the Sanctuary of Madonna dell'Ambro, etc. possibility of using the swimming pool for adults and children about 700 ml. from the house (for a fee, currently 8 euros) overall a great life experience in a very well-kept house and enjoyable. A week of true relaxation! The house is very cozy, familiar and super stocked. The place is wonderful! Take a bathroom with Sibillini mountain views, unparalleled!
