I had an amazing time at Andy and Rachel's place. I stayed one week. The apartment is really lovely, very clean, spacious, with a comfortable bed, and amazing views including the horses right in front of you. Andy and Rachel are very nice hosts, always responsive and helpful. The location is great for various attractive places to visit and for walks, including Galway and Westport. The cottage was so comfortable and the amenities were incredible. The showers are big and the water was very warm. It is spacious and It is decorated with style and is very modern and clean. We loved the rural landscape and beautiful surroundings. We were very pleased with our stay and the friendly and warm reception we received from Ita. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay and out of the hustle and bustle of the major city / Gallway.

BogOak Cottage

GillesRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Recommended without reservation to lovers of the countryside. Bridie's family is particularly welcoming and I found what I loved about Ireland during my first stay 50 years ago: warmth, friendship. Every moment with Dermot and Luke was a real pleasure. We had some difficulties getting there, but only our poor mastery of modern navigation tools is responsible. Beautiful walks on the banks of the Suck!
