I recently stayed at Jean-Xavier’s apartment that absolutely exceeded my expectations! The apartment was very clean, luminous and beautifully decorated with an authentic charm. The location is very central, just a 5 minutes walk from local attractions and great restaurants. Apartment has all necessary amenities, washing machine, towels, etc. Communication with Jean Xavier was great, he was very friendly and responsive. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay!)

I really enjoyed staying at Jeanne‘s place. The location is very convenient and the room is great! The rooftop terrace was super to chill out. Convos with Jeanne were very friendly and she provided me lots of cool recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

Had a great time at Laurent's! Not being at all used to homestays, I was convinced by the excellent comments about this host and so I add my contribution here. Laurent is a warm, welcoming and very accommodating person as needed. In addition, I had rich discussions with him, which was particularly pleasant. The accommodation is clean and bright, in a lively but not noisy neighborhood, which is convenient for a good night's sleep. I would like to point out that in the bedroom, Laurent also provides a fan and mosquito repellent, which is very much appreciated at this time ;) She's a trustworthy person, you can go there without so much as a second thought!

Eve has been a lovely and kind host! She made sure everything is fine and that we‘d feel very at home! She is a very open and respectful lady, that is very eager for her guests to have a welcoming and a place to stay where they‘d feel at home immediately! I highly recommend this place and also the healthy breakfast. She even takes care of allergies, we felt very very cared for! If you are open to get to know local French people, come here!:)

Needed a place to crash out for a night and Ghislaine's place was perfect for me. Very close to the station which for an Interrailer like me is exactly what I'm after. The room is peaceful and the bed very comfortable, just what you need after a long day travelling! Would gladly stay again.

I stayed 5 nights at this lovely place (am a solo female traveller). Met by Philippe who was welcoming, friendly, helpful & allowed me to arrive early. Modern with nice decour and great amenities, including a full kitchen & washing machine. Nice being able to sit outside in the patio & garden (and hang out some washing)! Easy 10-15 minute walk to train station where there are also lots of cafes & restaurants & only a 7 minute walk to a supermarket which had everything I needed. Cental city about 25 but there are trams/buses if you don't want to walk. Enjoyed my stay and recommend Chambre Chalet Independant 😊 Merci Beaucoup Philippe

Christophe is a very welcoming and flexible host, who gives good tips for visits. His apartment is in the Chartrons district and with the tram you are three stations from the city center. It offers breakfast, which is not the case with all hosts. And that I was able to take on her beautiful terrace. Wow effect guaranteed. A big fan of good tea, I enjoyed his collection. Her dog enjoys being petted. I'll gladly go back to Christophe's when I go back to Bordeaux.
