Walk to Magazine Street, the St. Charles streetcar, coffee shops, and the beautiful homes of the Garden District. Close to the French Quarter, but tucked away from the noise. City bus system close by, St Charles Streetcar within walking distance and only $7-$9 by Uber or Lyft into the center of the city. Parking outside right in front of the house. (Of course, on occasion, you may have to park a couple spots away, however it's rarely a problem to park right in front). "B" 1 BD Side Balcony-St Charles Ave-Garden Dist

High ceilings with intricate plaster detail are featured in an antebellum mansion home built in 1851 which sits right in front of the streetcar/trolley stop. A great experience to be right there on "the Avenue" under the 250 year old oak trees. You can take our self guided walking tour through the Garden District and see one home after another built in 1800's, with names of architect (if known), year built and who lived there.
