Thanks for hosting us. We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was nice and clean. The garden is super nice, sitting outside you just need to accept that mosquitos will probably eat you up. Check-in and check-out was very uncomplicated, flexible and fast. Thank you, until next time :)

The most perfect stay in Modica. We used the car park recommended which was free and easy to find with the instructions shared. Just beware of the steep walk with luggage (approx. 7 mins). Peppe greeted us at the car which was brilliant. He was super welcoming even offering some food reccos. The home is stunning with the best view of Modica! Giuliana was a wonderful host – warm, welcoming, and always discreet. Her beautiful Shanti is a truly special place: the house is stunning, peaceful, and the pool adds a magical touch. We felt at home from the very first moment. Giuliana was always available with helpful suggestions and made our stay in Sicily even more enjoyable. Her kindness and care made a real difference. Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, in denen ich jemals war! Stylish, modern, fantasievoll möbliert… einfach phantastisch! Vor allem der Blick aus dem Balkon auf die Altstadt von Modica ist so toll!!! Die Unterkunft von Rudia ist ein kleiner Goldschatz. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Rudia ist eine großartige Kommunikatorin: Sie war immer schnell zu erreichen, hatte wertvolle Tips für Restaurants zur Hand und war für Fragen stets erreichbar. Modica ist eine Reise wert, auch im Ragusa, Noto und andere sehenswerte Orte der Region zu erkunden. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, ruhig, klimatisiert und dunkel wenn man mag und hat einen wunderschönen Balkon für laue Abende. Kurzum: Hier kann man sehr gut Urlaub machen.

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

Thank you so much for such a warm and welcoming stay! From the moment we arrived, Guiseppe made us feel completely at home - meeting us in person and even helping with parking on a busy road was so kind and above and beyond. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches, from the treats left for us to the fresh fruit, it was a real taste of Sicilian hospitality! Guiseppe was always available and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The terrace was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to unwind. We also loved how close it was to the centre of Noto, just a short walk to great restaurants and the charming old town. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone.

Would definitely stay here again. Marisa was super kind and let us keep our bags at the apartment even after we checked out so we could walk around more. The apartment had a lovely balcony view as well. Great location.

Such a beautiful gem of an apartment! I would fully recommend staying here! We stayed for three nights after we’d just got married in Sicily. The apartment is beautiful and just as it looks in the pictures - the roof terrace is a real bonus! It’s absolutely stunning & a great place to laze under the sun, relaxing in the day or to have an alfresco dinner in the evening. It also overlooks ruins which is super interesting. The location of the apartment is also great - a 2-3 minute walk from the lively fish market & a variety of great restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Francescos Wohnung ist großzügig, sehr hell und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Du kannst vom Balkon aus den Leuchtturm und das Meer sehen. Der Self Check-In funktioniert wunderbar problemlos. Francesco ist ein guter Gastgeber und hat immer superschnell und unkompliziert kommuniziert. Er gibt Tipps für Besichtigungen (Danke, das Castello habe ich mir am Sonntag angeschaut!) und hilft bei allen Fragen. Das WiFi ist stabil und eignet sich auch gut für Videocalls, falls nötig. Ich würde in jedem Fall wiederkommen und kann diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Great location! Easy walk to Ortigia, which is absolutely gorgeous area all around! Airbnb apartment is beautiful and spacious. Regardless of its central location, we have not had much of any street noise and the nights were quiet. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet appartement qui s’est avéré à la fois fonctionnel et simple, tout en répondant parfaitement à nos besoins. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la présence d'un parasol pour la plage, un petit plus qui s'est révélé très pratique. De plus, la localisation de l'appartement est idéale, offrant un accès facile à tout ce dont nous avions besoin, ce qui a vraiment contribué à rendre notre expérience plus fluide. Cependant, il est important de noter que les nuits peuvent être assez bruyantes, ce qui a légèrement perturbé notre repos. Cela dit, nous gardons un souvenir positif de notre séjour et nous remercions Aurore notre hôte pour son accueil.

Great place, was very cozy and just the trick for a short trip where you can take a 20 minute walk to the city center. The outdoor patio was also great.

Marco was friendly and an excellent host and very fast in responding for our questions. He had some excellent restaurant recommendations in Ortigia and Syracuse. The apartment was very clean & tidy and had everything you might need. Great location to walk into Ortigia too or explore great local restaurants. Highly recommend

We loved our stay here! Letizia greeted us when we came and gave us the history behind Modica. She had very helpful tips for Modica and its surroundings from where to park and the history of surrounding cities - like a self guided walking tour. It was a great addition to be able to wash our clothes and admire the lighting on the building from the balcony. The place was central but quiet enough.
