Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Galápagos Islands

Tres bien situé. Le logement est à côté de pharmacies, boulangerie, supermarchés. La piscine est agréable. La maison est excellemment bien équipée tant pour y vivre que pour sortir avec des affaires de plongée. Chaque chambre est spacieuse et à sa propre salle d'eau. La cuisine a beaucoup de vaisselle afin d'y cuisiner. Barbara est tres agréable et réactive à nos demandes et besoins. Nous recommandons ce logement pour une famille ou entre amis.

Charles and Ximena were great hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Galapagos Cottages is an excellent location clos e to Tortuga Bay. Also, the coffee, milk be beer in the frigde was perfect.

Lovely house in a great location that suited our family perfectly. The hosts are great and very helpful with a lovely taxi service too.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at Janet and Juan Carlos’ place. The location was ideal - stone’s throw from some of the best restaurants on the island and an easy water taxi ride away from the town side of Puerto Ayora. Juan Carlos was in and out in a separate house on the property and very responsive to any questions we had. We were out most of the time on various day trips but it was a great place to come back to, unwind and enjoy the pool. Our thanks to both Janet and Juan Carlos for being terrific and welcoming hosts!

We had an amazing stay at Andrés place. It was just a short walk from town and the Charles Darwin research centre. The place was extremely clean had everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

Vanesa fue muy amigable, nos sentimos en casa. Teniamos acceso a la sala y ademas un espacio en una nevera compartida para huespedes, lo cual fue muy util. Ademas de agua para rellenar nuestras botellas!! Todo fue igual que en las fotos. Muy recomendada!!!

this is a 5 star review summary: I will most definitely book this location again. pos: host is extremely responsive, and offered solid recommendations for travel and services pos: location is close to downtown (15 minute leisurely walk to ferry, less than 10 to darwin research) with plenty of mini markets and restaurants within 10 pos: beds comfortable, plenty of storage spaces, very secure. neighborhood feels very safe pos: pictures are exact, property is well furnished and well decorated. a fantastic place to spend a week or more in the galapagos neg: like most multi story structures in S America, tight winding stairway may be tough for elderly. Not a criticism of this host, but be aware there are no bedrooms on entry level. neg: as with all properties in the city of puerto ayora, expect to hear trucks coming and going at all hours. no late night restaurant or bar noise.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jonnathans, the apartment is lovely and has a fantastically equipped kitchen. The showers are great. Jonnathan is an excellent host who provided clear instructions and assisted us with any questions we had regarding onward travel, tours or restaurant recommendations. Gracias Jonnathan !

Nice place for a great price. The manager is very responsive and helpful. About a 7 minute leisurely walk to the main town and far enough away for some peace and quiet. Right across from playa mann and next to the interpretation center that has trails to some wonderful snorkeling behind it. The sunsets from the living room are some of the most gorgeous that I have seen. The coffee shop/restaurant in the complex is delicious and affordable. Easy to catch a taxi by waving one down or calling if you need one!

The perfect place to explore Galapagos from! Lucia's place is at the quiet end of town, close enough that everything is walkable but not in the middle of it all. The place is spacious and newly remodeled and the bed is very comfortable. Lucia went out of her way to help me find tours and even called a taxi for me to the airport on my way out. There's a tour company and a restaurant in the same building, which is super convenient. It's a great place to stay.

We loved our stay at the Drake Inn - great service, right across the street from an amazing beach with iguanas. Great self-service bar and rooftop lounge with stunning views of the sea.

La casa es nueva y muy limpia. Tenía todo para cocinar, un bidón de agua y toallas extras. También una lavadora y secadora en el tercero piso. Nos gustó mucho el apartamento. Hay que pedir la dirección antemano porque fue difícil ubicarlo cuando llegamos pero llamamos Marco y nos ayudó. Gracias Marco

Acogedor, cumple con las expectativas, el señor Antonio es muy amable al igual que su mujer, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte de la mejor forma, resolutivos, naturales de la isla, te da un plus para conocer y saber la historia de San Cristóbal, muy recomendable y muy agradecido por el trato.

the apartment located a slightly quieter side of the town but just a short walk to the pier and food locations. The place is spotless and spacious with both living room and bedroom equipped with A/C. It looks like everything was just recently renovated. The kitchen is full of appliances that I can’t think of anything I need but not there. There is also filtered water and even a panini maker. I was warmly greeted by Danny and his wife upon arrival and they walked me through the lock and everything. They were responsive during my stay on providing information I needed. I got a little bit sick and they even helped me get medication before my boat ride. 10/10 and I recommend the place!

Realmente excelente todo. Walter fue muy atento para coordinar mí llegada, me recibió amablemente y su departamento es impecable. Todo limpio, funcionando y muy bien equipado. El lugar es muy lindo. Sahara’s place was great. Spacious and private. Very clean and silent. We felt right at home. Just one block away from all the restaurants and agencies yet silent at night. We strongly recommend it to anyone.

What an open peaceful space! The porch was spectacular and we spent a lot of time sitting out there. It was an easy walk to almost anything. The AlMar restaurant was a three minute walk with delicious food and drinks as well as being right on the water. We loved how open and airy the space was and the air conditioning was much appreciated especially for sleeping! Thank you to Matthew for meeting us and answering all our questions!

Excelente estadía. El lugar tiene todas las comodidades necesarias para un grupo familiar y la ubicacion es cercana a los principales puntos de la isla. Una opción recomendable, sin duda.

Muchas gracias a Pepo por una estancia estupenda. La casa contaba con todo lo necesario: agua potable, ducha caliente, cama cómoda, una cocina completa… también tenía aire acondicionado, aunque gracias a las mosquiteras se podía perfectamente abrir las ventanas para disfrutar de la brisa de la noche. Nos sentimos muy a gusto durante toda nuestra estancia, sobre todo porque estaba situada muy cerca tanto de playas como playa Mann o punta Carola, como del centro del pueblo. Gracias en especial a nuestro host Pepo, que estuvo siempre dispuesto a brindarnos recomendaciones y consejos. Todo un gusto! Hasta la próxima y gracias!!

We really enjoyed staying here whilst on San Cristobal. We last minute booked and communication was really quick and easy. I had an online interview and the WiFi was really good. Very short walk to the sea front. Clean and spacious. Great aircon in the bedroom.
