In summer there are also countless hiking opportunities, Høyt og Lavt climbing park, frisbee golf and open mountain pastures at Solbråsetra where the local woman Anne Hov invented Gudbrandsdal cheese in 1863. There is more culture: Peer Gynt Festival in July/August, Rondaståk in June and a short distance to the Country Festival in Vinstra

Our cabin «Peer Gynt suite» is located on the edge of the forest in Gudshaugen cabin area and is a great starting point for activities all year round. This is our family's little idyll. Perfect for 1-4 people. Possibly a nice tent pitch in addition. The cabin is only 30m2, but still spacious. Hallway with underfloor heating and wardrobe space. Separate rooms for kitchen and bathroom with heated floors. The living room has a dining area and sofa area with good ceiling height. The loft in the living room has two beds with good mattresses, and the sofa bed is of good quality.

In this place your family can stay close to everything, the location is central. Short distance to cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, climbing park, frisbee course, hiking trails and nice bike paths. Walking distance to the store. From this cottage you have a beautiful view of Jotunheimen from the terrace, which can be enjoyed by the fire pit in good outdoor furniture. Other info. Bed linen and towels can be rented for NOK 100 per set. The tenant is responsible for cleaning. If necessary, this can be arranged by the landlord for NOK 1000

It is located by the road, well shielded with stunning views of Gålåvatnet and Jotunheimen. The cabin is centrally located for both summer and winter activities. Gålå is a great family destination with lots of activities for the whole family. The place is especially known for a long ski season with good ski slopes, the Peer-gynt game, and many opportunities for biking in the summer.

New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Gålå - Panoramic views of Gålåvatnet & Jotunheimen

Cozy cottage with all facilities, 9 beds, fantastic location with good sun conditions and panoramic views of Gålåvatnet and Jotunheimen. Great hiking opportunities, fishing, canoeing and cycling in summer and in winter the area offers fantastic cross-country trails nearby and a great alpine facility. Access to the high mountains Rondane and Jotunheimen is about 1 hour drive. The cabin is a short walk away from Gålå grocery store with year-round operation, and cafe and mountain hotel just nearby.

Willkommen in Snowcake Cottage, unsere luxuriöse Holzhütte mit einer tollen Ausstattung und einer einzigartigen Aussicht auf den Gålå-See sowie das Jotunheimen Gebirge. Bei uns findest du neben Sauna, Hot tub und freistehender Badewanne alles, was dein Herz begehrt! Bettwäsche und Handtücher, Shampoo und Duschgel sind ebenfalls inklusive. Nur das verbrauchte Holz sollte am Ende des Urlaubs wieder aufgefüllt werden.

For rent is a new "cosy" cabin in Gålå. Relax at 860 meters above sea level with a beautiful view of Lake Gålå and the surrounding mountains. Directly accessible from the cabin is one of the largest networks of cross country tracks in Norway. The local alpine slopes are great for families. For those after more challenges, Kvitfjell and its world cup slopes is only a 40 minute drive away.
