In summer there are also countless hiking opportunities, Høyt og Lavt climbing park, frisbee golf and open mountain pastures at Solbråsetra where the local woman Anne Hov invented Gudbrandsdal cheese in 1863. (30 sqm) Free parking Only a 5-minute drive to: grocery store (open 7 am - 11 pm), sports shop, Gålåvatnet, Gålå Alpin & Aktiv, Klatreparken Høyt & Lavt, Peer Gynt Arena (theater), cafes, Peer Gynt stadium with roller ski slope and floodlit slope (artificial snow from the last weekend in November). New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Varden er en helt ny hytte med 4 soverom, 2 bad og badstue. Den ligger ved den kjente Peer Gynt veien, mellom Kvitfjell, Skei og Gålå. Gudbrandsdal leirskole, som fungerer som fjellstue i alle ferieperioder, ligger like ved. Da er også kafeen åpen. Kano, sykkel og skileie er mulig. På Fagerhøy er det fantastiske muligheter for et aktivt friluftsliv. Merkede vandre stier og sykkelruter. På vintertid er det 600 km skiløyper i alle retninger. Her er du virkelig på fjellet, 1018 moh.

Directly accessible from the cabin is one of the largest networks of cross country tracks in Norway. The local alpine slopes are great for families. For those after more challenges, Kvitfjell and its world cup slopes is only a 40 minute drive away.
