House vacation rentals in Gagnières

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We had a great time at Claude's place. The house is very well-equipped, everything is thought out for the comfort of travelers (high quality bedding). It's best to have a vehicle to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the outdoors as much as we wanted, due to the capricious weather and voracious mosquitoes. Claude is really a real plus in this rental, very welcoming, good advice, while remaining discreet, which allows you to enjoy the stay in peace. The small touches (bottle of rosé, olives from the garden) made us very happy and were more than appreciated. We highly recommend this listing!

Magical place, set in the middle of nature! Interior of the house impeccable but the best is the exterior. With the summer kitchen, the pool, the view, the petanque court. Amazing, I would recommend!

We were welcomed by Melissa who agreed to adjust the arrival time, thank you again. After a quick tour of the house we were able to take possession of it. The volumes are huge and immediately give a very nice impression. The bedrooms are a good size as well as the bathrooms, impeccable. The living room, kitchen are perfect. As for the outside, it is also huge and beautifully wooded (the olive trees are very beautiful). Even though the pool is a little small, we fully enjoyed it as well as the sheltered terrace, ideal for spending long evenings. I recommend it. Thank you again!

If you love peace, nature and freedom, this place is fantastic. A beautiful, diverse environment with many hiking trails just next door, but also further away. We explored the region by car and took several walks with the dog. But coming back was always a party, and then received a warm welcome from Wallace, in a nice, well-kept and tasteful cottage with everything. Admired the starry night from the deck chair and the last night a thunderstorm spectacle as a cherry on top. Haryhanta provided the delicious and fresh eggs in time and she was ready if we needed anything. Highly recommended and we would love to come back to discover more in the Cévennes at Harryhanta.

Great stay with friends or young and old had a great time! Very beautiful spaces, charm and taste! We could easily have stayed there the whole stay, we felt so good in this house! Very pleasant and safe swimming pool for children, we enjoyed it 😃😃

We just spent 15 days and the good weather was at the rendezvous, for those looking for calm and tranquility is the ideal place! Christine and Philippe are welcoming, warm, available and concerned for the well-being of their guests. They were good tips for sites to visit, both in the Gard and in the Ardèche which is barely 10 km away Many places to visit including the Pont du Gard, the Pont d 'Arc and the Ardèche gorges by canoe, the Aven Orgnac cave, the Sautadet waterfalls, the Nîmes bullring....) The house is well equipped and local shops are in Barjac 3km away We had a great time!

A great weekend in the hanging house Everything was perfect! We are in the city but still in a different setting Everything is provided, the layout of the accommodation is great, there is air conditioning and in the kitchen the basic condiments are also provided The accommodation is without shutters and close to the road but night masks as well as earplugs are provided Personally, we weren't bothered by the noise The hosts are responsive and available, we'll be back with pleasure

Excellent stay at Laura and François's, with lots of proposals for activities, restaurant addresses, walking plans etc. We recommend it!! Ideal for holidays to recharge and cut off the world 🧘‍♀️

We had a lovely stay. Michèle's accommodation is quiet, very clean and exactly as described. Michèle is very available and very responsive for all information before the stay. Michèle does everything to make you feel at home. She even took the trouble to provide us with small jars of jam she made. If you can't do the shopping when you arrive, no worries, the cupboards of the accommodation are well stocked and Michèle gives you access. Same for the bathroom!!! Really, I've never found a place where everything is available like this. In addition, just before our departure, Michèle had kindly taken care to drop off a tray of strawberries from her garden that we enjoyed on the way back. I highly recommend this listing!!!! Discussions welcome and availability of both hosts in an enchanting setting. The place is exceptional, riverside, tastefully decorated, perfectly maintained. We would have stayed longer because we felt so good there. I recommend it not with eyes closed but wide open in front of the roses, the irises, the lime tree and with the memory of a meal spent under the light of the lanterns on a sweet May evening. Thanks!

We stayed 3 nights in Agnes' accommodation. We arrived in a beautiful village with all-stone houses, and the cherry on top was a castle right next door. The village is very quiet and the accommodation is very welcoming and very clean. We did not meet Agnès but she is a super responsive host and we were touched by the little touches upon arrival.

We had a great weekend at Véronique's. The cottage is very original in its restoration and located in a beautiful garden. We therefore particularly appreciated the beauty of the site, the calm and the possibility of starting hikes from the cottage. Véronique and Stéphane's hospitality is exceptional, they take the time to discuss and offer very good ideas for walks in a region that is not lacking in possibilities. Thanks again to them.

We had two wonderful weeks at Catherine's cottage! We enjoyed the tranquility, the simplicity, wild nature, clean air and challenging walks. The pool was wonderfully refreshing and an experience! Catherine and her family received us very warmly. From Bruno, we received homemade goat cheese. Actually, we prefer to keep this beautiful place a secret:)
