Cottage 101 - Moyard

TanyaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely stunning location!!!!! We spent an entire morning climbing on the peninsula, looking in the tide pools, watching the otters play, and seabirds fly. The sheep near by could be seen and heard and I couldn't imagine a more beautiful spot. It was a short drive to Kylemore Abbey and the national park. The shear sense of serenity and freshness was invigorating. The beds were comfortable and the living room was well stocked with reading material for a peaceful evening. My group has already discussed coming back for a longer stay just to enjoy the coastline more.
A charming historic cottage is presented, featuring a thatched roof and stone exterior. Colorful flowers adorn the front, and a bright pink door adds a splash of color. The surrounding landscape showcases a clear blue sky and hints of the nearby Burren Mountains.

Beautiful thstched roof cottage on the sea. Spent a peaceful two nights and enjoyed the nearby walks that Paul had recommended including the restaurant in nearby Ballyvaughn. We even had a tourist bus stop in front of the cottage for photos! That's how charming it is! Thanks you so much for sharing your home with us!

Cliffs of Moher View

IstvánRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The accommodation is clean, spacious, bright and well-equipped, a separate building. It has a perfect sense of privacy and silence. Parking is inside the property, almost under the living room window. It was a pleasant surprise that the third person also got a full-size bed (in the description it was a pull-out sofa). The host was helpful and friendly, he was waiting for us upon arrival. We arrived at low tide, it was a special experience to walk on the sand of the sea and the rocks that had become dry. The stairs leading there are a 2-minute walk. All three of us were happy that we chose this accommodation. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at this unique Airbnb in the city of Galway. We felt completely at home and the boat was a great house on the water to return to after a day or night out. Me, my cousin and his two young sons stayed at Gail and Antoine's house in Garmna, right in the middle of the islands in Connemara. We had a warm welcome from the first day not only from Gail and Antoine but also from their neighbors. The house was veryclean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The bedrooms were to a high standard and the place was veryconvenient for the fishery, our reason for coming. Antoine was extremely generous with his time and advice. We loved the pool table in the evening. The atmosphere was always relaxed and welcoming. I highly recommend anyone who would like a trulyIrish experience in beautiful Connemara. We will undoubtedly be back!

Relax in our tranquil seaside village haven

ColleenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Geraldine's beautiful seaside retreat and can't say enough positive things about her helpfulness throughout the week. The house is in a quaint location, great for exploring the southwest country. We enjoyed coffee each morning in the sunroom with a beautiful ocean view that couldn't even be ruined by the wild wind and rain. We struggled with operating some areas of the house (showers, thermostat), but Geraldine was right there to respond immediately and help us figure it all out. Please note this is not due to issues with the home, but us being American and unfamiliar. If you stay here to see the Cliffs of Moher, I would strongly encourage that you go south to the Kilkee Cliffs and Bridges of Ross. We found them even more mesmerizing and far less touristy.

Beautiful one bed apartment in excellent location

Catherine C.Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
I was looking for a quiet and yet beautiful spot to relax . Matthew's place was above and beyond my expectations. I was arriving on my own in Spiddal for the first time and a bit worried about finding the apartment and getting in. Matthew gave me detailed information and pictures of entering the apartment.. It couldn't have been easier!! And so secure. The apartment itself is beautiful. I felt so at home. The views and walks are hard to describe in words, so lovely. People in Spiddal are extremely welcoming. Groceries, pubs and the bus are a few steps away. In a few words, I can't wait to go back and definitely hope I can stay at the apartment. My home away from home. Thanks Matthew!!

The Herons Rest Townhouse 16 - Sea views

MaryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Well, what can I say that hasn’t been said by other guests - this is an outstanding rental and Sorcha was a terrific host. The accommodation was exactly as described and super clean. The welcome hamper of food was outstanding- local produce of the highest quality… just loved the granola especially! Everything is walkable from Sorcha’s place whether you’re heading to the pubs, to Eyre Square or in the opposite direction to Salthill; it’s all on your doorstep. The views from the house were fantastic- we watched the Galway hookers set sail and return, so elegant! All in all we’d a super stay and Sorcha was brilliant about communicating & checking that all was okay - so thoughtful. Oh yes, and the little guide she provides is great; we enjoyed some of the food recommendations (book where possible as Galway is super popular!). Great city, great accommodation, great stay.
A charming two-story white house is framed by lush greenery. The building features bay windows and a traditional roof design. A well-maintained lawn surrounds the home, and a gravel path leads towards a secluded area with plant arrangements in the background.

This is a great cozy place, decorated like a classic home of the mid 20th century, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. It even has a fireplace! It’s in Athenry, with a train station accessible directly from Limerick or Dublin. It’s a 20 min ride to Galway centre. Ray is a nice guy who showed us around when we arrived. We really recommend it

Loved staying at Fauve’s place, the cottage near Kinvara. Housed my wife and I, our two kids, and my parents. On a secluded coastal/marsh drive off Galway Bay, it’s peaceful and quiet. The house is just as beautiful as the photos. Fauve knows how to decorate - it’s like a showroom inside. Comfy beds, quiet surroundings, huge yard space for the kids to play. The Travellers Inn is just down the street to grab a pint! Don’t hesitate booking this place, it was awesome.

Beautiful spacious Farmhouse with stunning views

BrendanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Top notch experience. Max was very easy to communicate with and answered immediately with the lone question I had. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped with gear, and the outdoor area really made it a special stay. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. 3 minute walk to a art gallery/cafe, 4 to the beach, 5 to a restaurant/bar. If this place is available don't screw around, just book it.
