Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Funchal

This place was our home during our stay in Madeira. We really felt at home there. The house is very cozy, it has a nicely landscaped garden, where you can relax after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen is well equipped, it has all the cooking tools and basic spices. Patricia even took care of the containers in which we could comfortably pack snacks for our trips. The contact with the owner was amazing, we got a lot of additional useful information for our stay. The house is located quite high and it is definitely worth getting around by car.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The view from the driveway overlooking the mountains and sea was stunning, and the area is peaceful and relaxing. We didn’t spend much time at the house apart from sleeping, as we were out exploring Madeira most of the day. Still, it was a comfortable and convenient place to return to at night. There’s also a separate closed patio with a grill and space to hang out outside, which would be perfect for anyone looking to spend more time at the property. Getting to the Airbnb involves a steep road, but after the first time, it’s easy. That’s typical for Madeira and part of the experience. We had a private parking spot in the courtyard, which made things even easier. The Airbnb was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the host was responsive and helpful. Overall, a great base for discovering the island.

Such a hidden gem! A very cosy and zen lodge, with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. A lovely outdoor space for your morning coffee or lunch after your hike. Good proximity to all parts of the island being central & a lovely hike on the doorstep too. With a very kind & thorough host. We had such a lovely stay ✨️

The house was better than in the photos, it had everything you need. ArviL welcomed us with the typical dessert and gave us many tips about the area. He was very kind, met all our requests and was always available. The outside with the barbecue and the terrace are really beautiful and usable.

La casa de la pasion is a real gem! A haven of peace, an incredible view, space, the accommodation is very well equipped. Yamila was a thoughtful host with us and always available. We would recommend it in a second!

A beautiful villa that looks like the photos! The kitchen is functional. The owners are very welcoming and available. The views are breathtaking. Excellent bedding, shower + bathtub! The fruit basket on arrival with a bottle of wine and the sunset! You can't ask for more in this peaceful corner of Madeira!

Our stay at Yvo's went very well. Everything was as described and photographed. Yvo is caring and very available, responsive. He was able to help us when we needed it and give us valuable advice to make sure everything went smoothly for us! The place is peaceful, the landscapes are beautiful and we felt very good there. If we ever return to Madeira, we will definitely be staying at this place again!

Very good place to stay to visit the south and west part of the island. Listing matches photos. Comfortable but aging bedding, sheets too small for the bed and holes in the blankets. Very humid accommodation, no ventilation so lots of insects inside and fog. Low pressure shower if you want hot water. You can go upstairs to ask for breakfast but otherwise it is not offered to us, €10 Venezuelan or Portuguese, slight preference for the Portuguese breakfast with the bolo do caco, very good, served with juice and a fruit salad. Positive points: - the viewpoint is a 2-min walk away with a magnificent view - very nice small touches, small gift at the end of the stay, adorable - convenient location - the atmosphere among the banana trees and the small covered outdoor terrace is very nice

Amazing place to stay , very calm and relaxing place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the farm. Amazing view, nature, really beautiful surroundings. Hidden trails for people who are in to non-commercial hiking; you need only look a little. There is already one coming up to the farm, but ask Joana for local advice as she is also really engaged and helpful! We enjoyed the local farmers market in the nearby village, Santo da Serra, and the nearby park, which is also well worth regular visits, Quinta da Junta. We had bread delivered early in the morning, and a fruit basket that was kept topped up, and some amenities in the fridge when we arrived so that we were not foodless (e.g. butter, milk, cheese, eggs and ham). The apartment itself was excellently maintained, with access into the back garden area and sun loungers. We also appreciated the bath after long hikes and beach stays. We suggest renting a car to take full advantage of this part of the island, and where this is not possible using Joana's taxi contact. However, you can reach most places by bus, it just takes longer. Pay close attention to the bus plans. Overall, highly recommended! We want to come back one day :)

A beautiful apartment with beautifully landscaped garden and various seats with stunning views of Ponta do Sol and the ocean. Quiet location in the countryside. Only the dogs went crazy from time to time, but that never took long. Very nice place.

The accommodation is very comfortable. It has everything you need. The bedding is impeccable. There is a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view, spacious house. Very well located, hiking, shops nearby, supermarket 4 minutes away and Santana town center.

Home away from home. Christians place in Paul do Mar felt immediately like home to us. The apartment is spacious, clean and super comfortable within an amazing location in the super cute village of Paul do Mar. There is plenty of parking closeby, a supermarket to walk to and a great seafood restaurant and snack bar next door. We loved the balcony nestled between mountains, banana fields and the ocean. You can hear the calming sound of the ocean in the apartment and we slept so well. We definitely will choose to come here again and can highly recommend. Thank you!

We stayed at Bobby's house for 4 nights and the truth is everything was perfect, from the first moment they were concerned about our arrival and gave us directions, apart from that the views of the accommodation were amazing, and the incredible pool, we would repeat without a doubt. A pleasure to meet them and the island too.
