Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in London

Joanna's home is in a great location and she was a wonderful host. The property was exactly as shown in the photos and is relatively large by London standards - this is one of the benefits of being a bit further out the city center. Proximity to Richmond Park is a huge plus, particularly if you have a runner or cyclist in your family. Do note the travel time into central London is approximately 45-60 minutes, unless you happen to exactly time walking/bus/train schedules. On the plus side, you're a very short hop to Kew and other areas west of downtown, and a short Uber or Bolt ride to Heathrow. A couple of other HUGE positives - of the four rentals I've had in London, this was by far the quietest and most relaxed location. Restaurants/markets/etc. are all close by and accessible by bus if you're carrying groceries.

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. Having two bathrooms was especially convenient for our group. The only downside is that the soundproofing could be better, as it's located along a street and traffic noise can be heard. Also, the windows can't be opened for ventilation, but since it's on the ground floor, it's understandable. Overall, a great stay and would recommend!

Great location close to Clapham Common. We did not use the wet room, but the bath was fine. The stairs to the top room are very narrow. Paul warned us about construction and left us a bottle of wine, which was nice. We were not too bothered by it. We contacted Paul about the microwave, which wasn't working, and he replaced it within 24 hours. Generally a good experience.

Our stay in Chelsea was wonderful. The house was as described and we had everything we needed for our week in London. Being close to food shopping, pub and public transportation was important to us, and this house has it all. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing three-night stay at this charming house! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The place was spotless, neatly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, always making sure we had everything we needed. One of the best parts was the location – it’s just a 5-minute walk to Harrods, yet the house is tucked away on a very quiet, residential street. It was the perfect balance of being close to the action while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. We especially loved the cozy outdoor space and all the thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommended, and we’d love to stay again!

My stay at Mark's home was a bit unconventional as we were filming a student film there, but we still felt no shortage of hospitality and as though the place was our own for those few days. Truly, nothing can replicate the incredible feeling of looking over the river from any number of spaces throughout the property. It was beautiful and pristine and we felt so grateful to experience it. Myself and others in the crew will be competing with availability on the calendar to book it again and properly enjoy it for a vacation soon! Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone looking for a cozy break from London's city center. Mark was the most incredible host, warm, open, communicative and hospitable from the moment we booked until after we checked out. Thank you for everything and can't wait to come back!

Very nice place! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Lovely area – peaceful and close to local spots and attractions. The host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay!

Our family of five had a great time at Jo’s. Their Earls Court Square apartment was well-appointed, in a great location that was quiet but not too far off from the Main Street and the tube stop. I would stay at Jo’s again!

Very well decorated house with a spirit. Felt right at home. Great sound system and London view too. Without a doubt a top airbnb experience and offers great value. Calypso was super friendly and helpful. It’s very hard to think of a downside for the place and i’d only sit this one out if i had a past bad earthquake experience because the flat occasionally shakes. Thanks Calypso

Really helpful having the W/D combo and kitchen for breakfasts! Beautiful, quiet place and close to two tube stops, one of which you can take from Heathrow Airport. Loved the fancy techy things like the portable thermostat and bathroom mirror bluetooth.

This flat is on a quiet street in Chelsea. It is a 15 minute walk to the tube, but that also helps keep it in a more quiet area. Was ample space for us and our 3 teenagers. It is a lot of stairs so need to be able to walk up and down alot. Lovely patio to enjoy the weather if you have down moment. Great kitchen where we mainly did breakfast and midnight snacks. Wifi worked great. NIce to have laundry. Colette is so responsive and gave us a ton of local tips. Right across the street from a pub (Hollywood Arms) so we could pop over for a pint while the kids chilled. Top of the street is a Tesco (convenience store) so didn't really get a lot of groceries but we were mainly planning to eat out. Such a safe area we let our kids walk to Tesco by themselves and to the Starbucks at the top of the street which they were very happy to go exploring a bit. Walking distance to Chelsea stadium and the pubs there too! This is a perfect spot to land if you are visiting London.

James is a host everyone would wish for. He was always very responsive to any requests and he was also very friendly. His apartment had everything we needed and it really felt like home. The double travel cot that was available for my twins was just great as it made sleeping in the room feel like we were just in our own home. The apartment was sparkling on arrival and the kids loved it. Thanks for making our stay worthwhile. It is well appreciated. I highly recommend this place and will definitely consider it again in our next visit.

This apartment was wonderful. Very clean and quiet!! We enjoyed the quiet street and the lovely neighborhood very much. The apartment was very close to a grocery store, restaurants, and the trains! We were able to check in early which we really appreciated because our cruise ship arrived in a Southampton very early. I definitely want to come back to London and will stay here again. We didn’t drink the free bottle of wine but appreciated the gesture. We actually planned to but by the time we got back to the apartment each night we were full! Really enjoyed the flat and made the weekend for myself and my girlfriend, really come together and it was a lovely place to stay. Thomas helped with whatever i needed and was really friendly.

This is my 2nd time residing here. The stay is like a breath of fresh air. I’m obsessed with the Terrace and the aesthetics of the entire place. Everything is true to what you see. It’s an intense feeling of euphoric energy & this is why I will choose this stay every time.

I really loved my stay here. A beautiful location, peaceful and private, but also closed to all of Hampstead Heath and the underground station. The apartment was extremely clean and exactly was described. The roof terrace was a bonus. I would definitely stay here again!! Dan was a perfect host.

The location is great for runs in the park and proximity to the tube station - 15 mins' walk. Otherwise on hot day a short Uber ride is all it takes. The accommodation is clean and well equipped. We had a really good and productive stay. Thank you Max.

Bottom Line Up Front: The location is fabulous. Earls Court is, of course, convenient to both branches of the District Line and to the Piccadilly line, which give you access to most of London. Flying into Heathrow? Just hop on the tube there and you carried quickly to Earls Court. We have done that multiple times. What sets this apart from other Earls Court flats is the specific location, backing straight onto the gorgeous Philbeach Gardens. Step out the back door and you are in a private park for residents only. The flat itself is spacious and comfortable, and at night dark and quiet. Hot water is hot and plentiful. The hosts responded quickly to concerns. We will be back.

A beautiful apartment in a quiet and central location. Great access to public transport and also very walkable. An excellent place to stay if you want a few more creature comforts than are usually offered at hotels, and still in an accessible location. Highly recommend.
