Wolf Gully (WiFi!) - Secluded Goldfields Dog Oasis

LucieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This lovely cottage in Vaughan was beyond our expectations. Situated between Castlemaine and Daylesford it is tucked away, quiet and private. It was a warm, cosy and comfortable retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. It had all the cooking utensils, condiments, pans to cook any meal. The beds were super comfortable and warm. The newly renovated bright bathroom is a dream with washing machine supplied. And of course, the home was welcome to our two dogs which was such a wonderful bonus for us. We will definitely be seeking out this retreat again in the future. Cheryl

The Barn, Kyneton Victoria

EllieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Barn is a beautiful space, and Jordan has a great eye for styling (to be expected when it's what she does for a living!). The barn had everything we needed, the bed was probably the comfiest i've ever slept in, the kitchen, bathroom and furnishings were nice and clean, Bobby (the resident Golden Retriever) was the absolute sweetest! It's only a short drive from Kyneton's main streets and was the perfect location for us to both base ourselves for some day trips exploring, but also to spend a lazy afternoon and evening on the couch in the most cozy and enjoyable space. If we ever have a reason to return to the area, I would 100% stay again! With a wood heater and 2 reverse cycle units, it was also very easy to keep warm!

We had a lovely stay. Took in the views from the many locations on the property. Fire pit in the afternoon was a treat for a Uke strum and sing along. Could have stayed for a week! Thanks David. Was great to meet you on arrival and hear the history of the property. It's a special place!

Riversdale Retreat

ScottRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful escape for a couple of nights in a really peaceful and beautiful setting. While I could talk about how it matched its description, that the place was spotless, or that sitting in front of the fire felt so homely, there were a couple of things that stood out for me personally. Firstly, as someone who has managed to have tatami rooms in a few houses that I have lived in, and unfortunately doesn't have the space now, being able to sit on tatami and just chat was just lovely. Secondly, as someone who has spent many hours in sento in Japan, being able to sit on a stool and wash before hopping in a deep bath brought back wonderful memories. So all in all, a wonderful space with a really responsive host.
