5 min to the highway, only 20 km to Chemnitz, 60 km to Leipzig, 90 km to Dresden and yet in the middle of an oasis of nature, streams and ponds, meadows and forests, tranquility and the relaxing sound of the water. Hosts were very responsive and even picked me up from train station because I couldn’t catch the bus. Great help and very responsive. It should be known that the washing machine is no longer there and there isn’t WiFi available. Great time though!

Very friendly and good communication. There are a lot of stairs to walk, no elevator - you should adjust to that. For those who don't mind, you will be rewarded with a great view over Geithain. :)

We are a small family from Berlin and spent a weekend at Kathi's in Altenburg. It was sensational! The apartment is exactly as described and we felt at home right away. The apartment is chic and modern and has everything you need. Due to the quiet but also central location, it was the perfect combination of "switching off" and being centrally and quickly in the city. Communication with Kathi was always quick and friendly and we were able to clarify all questions quickly. Check-in and check-out were also very straightforward. Kathi even helped us with a parking space in the underground parking! Great! All in all, we were more than satisfied and felt very comfortable. If you want to visit Altenburg, you should definitely take a look at Kathi's apartment. We highly recommend the apartment and Kathi as a host and would be happy to come back.
