Family-friendly vacation rentals in French Flanders

The ZanziLodge is really a gem! The location is great: a stone's throw from the beach and from Bruges, so you can go out, but the lodge itself is an oasis of greenery and tranquility. Really a place to completely recharge and unwind. And the chickens, cows and Maurice the cat make it complete. So nice to have all the animals around you and Maurice is a real cuddly cat! In addition, the jacuzzi overlooking the cows is great, and you get real fresh eggs from them:) We greatly enjoyed our stay and would 100% return! Thank you Luc and Veronique for a great stay!

We spent a weekend with a group of 8 adults and 7 children. We found a beautiful house clean, welcoming, warm and with a beautiful garden in which the kids had fun playing. It has everything you need for toddlers with high chairs and umbrella beds. The hot tub was much appreciated by everyone:) There are clear instructions throughout the house. In short, a great 2 day stay. Too bad we only stayed one weekend!

Christine is a lovely person. the cottage is a haven of peace in the middle of birdsong. the cottage is impeccable and decorated with a lot of sensitivity and sweetness. very comfortable bedding. and the final bouquet, a beautiful relaxation at the end of the day in the jacuzzi. a great choice, I would recommend it 200%💯 we'll be back for sure.

Christophe and Sylvie are very friendly and welcoming hosts, impeccable accommodation, very well-equipped! We had a great time! The hot tub was very nice after the day of sightseeing! We will come back without hesitation!

Functional, clean accommodation with all the essentials for the stay. The big plus is of course the direct access to the beach and the environment with the farm and its animals. That's what tipped the balance in our choice of accommodation because our kids loved it and we didn't want to take the car all the time to go to the beach. Frédérique is responsive and attentive, we were treated to local drinks and cookies. We keep the address for a future stay on the coast. Thanks!

We rented Emmanuelle's house because we had a wedding at the Templar farm. Location. The house is very clean, well-equipped and peaceful. Everything was perfect for this nice family weekend. We will be back!

We had a great stay with our daughter. The house was equipped with all comforts, even a bathtub. Pascale is a superhost. If we are in this area again, we will definitely come back

Véronique's accommodation was very good, as described. We were looking for a place to discover Lille without being in the city, this is the perfect place for that! Véronique is available, and access is easy

The reception was warm and friendly. Although with the owners on a property, you had your privacy. My dog was able to let off steam on the huge area and had a nice friendship with Orphée, who visited us several times a day. Nothing was missing in the household, the only downside is that there is no toilet upstairs. The huge, dog-friendly beach is only 5-10 minutes by car. For further excursions to the nearby and further surroundings, the convenient location is great. Although we actually only go to each place once, we play with the idea of coming back again. Greetings to Didier and his family – it was wonderful!

A very good weekend at Françoise's, who was very responsive and welcoming. The house is very beautiful, in a quiet environment, with a nice well-appointed garden. Very convenient location 10-15 minutes from Lille center, served by bus.

Another wonderful stay at Isabelle's. 👍🏻 Everything is as described, very clean and Isabelle is accommodating and very responsive. It's always a real pleasure. 😘

Very good stay at Noël's, with a warm welcome. The place and the house are as described, both peaceful and beautifully maintained, with the possibility of beautiful walks with our dog. Our stay was short but we were able to visit the surroundings and the Audomarois marshes. We plan to go back and share this little getaway with those around us.

This place is amazing! such a beautiful location. We had a lovely time for our 4 days. The house is great, very tastefully decorated and lots of amenities. The pool was an excellent addition but unfortunately the weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped. Nevertheless we had a lovely relaxing time, playing boules, walking the vast grounds and enjoying the peace. We hope to visit again.

We had an incredible stay at Lievekes house. The photos on the listing did not do it justice! The facilities for children are incredible- our 4 year old and 6 month old couldn't have been better catered for! The kids playroom outside was a big hit. The hosts were friendly and approachable and helpful when there was an issue. They were so helpful at check in and really thoughtful at check out with the children. Our son loved being able to explore the farm, feed the alpacas and sit in the farm machinery. Lots to do nearby too from Bruges city, Ypres history etc. We will be back!

the exchanges with Audrey were very pleasant, clear and efficient. the house is more than charming, clean, spacious, very well-equipped, extremely pleasant, well laid out and above all, it smells good🥰🥰🥰. Not to mention the excellent quality bedding (important when you're over 40🤣🤣🤣) even on the sofa bed. Honestly, nothing to say. We were very well hosted , the accommodation is clean, well arranged and very well equipped. When you have a question, we'll answer you within 5 minutes. The pool is beautiful, very hot, very clean and very large , my 4 year old daughter loved it. There are even children's games outdoors. It's really great for a family vacation. We were able to go to the sea because the weather was nice ( 50 min drive ) and the northern beaches are beautiful. The people who hold the cottage are adorable and fold in 4 to make you feel good. I recommend 1000%

Bruges is a beautiful city and Tom's place is the best location to experience it. The apartment is in a historic building minutes walk from all interesting sites and activities. The apartment is very spacious and very comfortable. Everything is super clean and the amenities very modern. We really enjoyed our five nights stay. Tom is very responsive and a really nice guy. Through the years we stayed at douzaines of nice airbnbs in over ten countries. Tom's apartment and its hard to beat location in Bruges is up there among the very best we experienced. We highly recommend it. We will certainly plan to stay there again at our next visit to Bruges.

This beutiful apartment is in a little village outside the bigger village of Ypres. Perfect. Ann tells me that it's a lovely walk (I think she said about 45 min) to the village if you don't have a car - though I would recommend a car for exploring the area. The apartment is so cozy, clean and welcoming. And the bed is perfection. I just wish the weather would have cooperated and we would have been able to enjoy the shared garden. Though Ypres is much smaller than Brugge or Ghent - it's perfect. Great restaurants in the village square and a central location for all the drives to the WWI memorial sites. I highly recommend staying at Ann's apartment, it's a warm and comfortable space to start and end your long days of exploring.
