Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Freiburg

The previous reviews have raised high expectations, which have been consistently met. Everything that has been written so far is true! The prepared hiking trails, some of which start at the house, are particularly great. After hiking, relaxation in the sauna, then a cozy evening in the beautiful apartment. Only one disadvantage: we didn't stay long enough! So highly recommended, namely host and vacation home, you effectively stay and live like on cloud nine.

We had a great stay at Tamara's place. The location and views are beautiful. Tamara also gave us some tips for activities beforehand. You just felt like it was important to her that we felt comfortable and so do we! I would come back anytime

We stayed here because we visited the Europapark. From there, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the park. The place was nice, Lilia and the house cat greeted us when we arrived, the place was clean and we felt comfortable right away. We spent the evenings comfortably on the large balcony and recovered. The area is very quiet, we liked that.

We enjoyed staying at the Sonnenhäusle very much. The house is quiet and you can start hiking right at the door. We also received tips for hikes, which we tested directly and found to be good. 🙂 The house is well suited for 4 adults and the spacious garden invites you to relax. Communication beforehand and at check-in was excellent. The house itself has everything you need and the sauna after a long hike was an absolute treat. We would stay there again anytime!

Absolutely loved👍😍. We stayed 1 week for two with our four-legged friends in the beautiful accommodation of Petra and Roger. Already before our trip, we had such a friendly contact with Petra and Roger. Everything went wonderfully from start to finish. The place is a dream, clean, beautifully decorated, with lots of privacy and with everything your heart desires🙏❤. The location is perfect, with many possibilities for excursions (Wutachschlucht, Schluchsee, Rheinfall, Titisee, Lake Constance, Zurich and much more). A perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet in the countryside and still see a lot. Last but not least, Petra and Roger are perfect, loving 😍hosts who were always available and supported with valuable tips. Simply 5 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for everyone👍🙏. We had a wonderful time🙏.. This was truly the most beautiful home and location. We drove from Basel and it was easy to find. Great amenities. The home was absolutely spotless and well equipped. It was just stunning. With the views from full length windows to the stream and being able to walk out in to the forest. There were local goats which were a big hit with the kids. We had a teenage boy and 7 year old girl and both loved it. If you have kids, there is a theme park about 1 hour or so away and a beautiful swimming complex about 20 mins away. But honestly, just staying at the house and hiking was the best. I would stay here again and would highly recommend. The hosts met us to let us in and changed our check-in when our flight times were changed by the airline which helped so much. I can not fault it. Perfection.

I'd love to come back! Everything as indicated, traditional house with some amenities of today in a quiet location. Everything was very straightforward and Frank & Petra were great hosts.

Perfect place for hiking and walking in the southern region of the Black Forest. A comfortable and roomy apartment. Nice hosts. Good town to stay, easy acces to stores. Easy to get around to Freiburg and beyond. Highly recommended.

We had the most amazing stay. Rebecca and Tony were the loveliest hosts, ensuring we had all the information we needed for our adventures (which were wonderful and aplenty). We’re so grateful to the whole family for making our stay so welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful property and to explore the local area. It really is an enchanting place, lush and green with so much to see and do. We were struck by the rich biodiversity of the region and how quiet and pristine it is. As a family who are passionate about nature and enjoy nothing more than spending time together outdoors, this was the prefect base. The property is nestled amongst tree-covered hills with beautiful wildflower meadows spanning the valley and you’ll find a stream at the bottom of the garden. The balcony offers dreamy views out towards the picturesque landscape where you can enjoy the soothing soundtrack of birds, the bells of the goats on the hillside and the stream. A little slice of paradise!

Our year 2025 could not have started better. Thanks for that 🙏 We were greeted personally by Milla & Grace, and we immediately felt welcome thanks to the brief introduction from the two. For us, it was the perfect place to relax, the incredibly beautiful panoramic windows invite you to do yoga or linger. Two other pluses were the sauna and the great free-standing bathtub. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the spacious apartment to anyone looking for something special.

As a family with two small children (4 and 6 years), we spent wonderful days in Ludger's apartment. The selection of books and toys is phenomenal, the apartment is equipped with everything you need in everyday life. The apartment is clean, there is enough of everything. Ludger is very friendly and very accessible. We had self-inflicted problems with the toaster, Ludger replaced it directly. Highly recommended, the value for money is great!

We had a week-long dream vacation in the light-flooded, extremely clean, beautifully furnished apartment! Super located and even bikes were available, which we used thanks to Julia's tips on daily wonderful bike rides. It was only difficult to decide whether the coffee on the balcony with lake view or on the mouth of the fragrant roses. We would actually love to stay forever!

We had a fantastic stay in a fully equipped apartment. Everything is provided. The beds are great. It is also really a king size. We always select on that. I'm long and wide, so that was nice. The wifi is very good. The area is beautiful. The view from the apartment is phenomenal and wide. We have seen wildlife from the apartment (deer and various birds of prey). We had a view of the mountains and the cattle of the father of the owner of the apartment. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We regularly had a chat with them. From the apartment, beautiful routes and places are within reasonable distance, as well as large well-stocked supermarkets and restaurants and terraces. For hikers, this is the end. But when you're looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely the place to be. Really a super apartment in a super location. Highly recommended, at an affordable rate.

What a fantastic place! Clara and her family are incredibly kind and helpful. Their home is beautifully situated near peaceful forests, with no traffic or noise to disturb you. Lake Constance (the Bodensee) is just a 30-minute drive away, making this the perfect base for exploring the area. I’d definitely love to come back!

The cozy log cabin with garden is located in a quiet, green environment. It is very clean, well equipped and pleasantly bright thanks to the large skylight. Wolfgang is a friendly and attentive host who proactively informs and responds very quickly. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

It was a good stay, a perfect base to see the Bodensee, Schaffhausen and other nice places. The house was simple, but fine! Everything you need is there.

The accommodation is in the garden of the host family. The garden is so beautifully decorated. The cottage is cute and so cozy. We thank Elias and his whole family for the nice welcome.

Super nice reception by the hostess who happened to be there. The place has retained the charm of the old railway station post office. Everything you need is there. The small garden is fenced, which is great with a dog. Despite the train station, it is very quiet. You can hardly hear the few trains. The stairs up are really steep, but doable with the railing/light. Restaurants, bakery and shopping within walking distance. You can start hiking directly from the accommodation. Bus and train accordingly right around the corner, so you can get anywhere very quickly. We were very pleased :)

Beautifully located in a small forest. Lots of birds and squirrels to watch. We felt completely comfortable.
