Only 6 minutes drive from The Clarens Square and 26 restaurants, yet you can unwind completely in the peacefulness of the wind and sunshine. Lovely walks. Electric blankets and wood burning fires , fully equipped kitchen, 4.5 bathrooms for 6 bedrooms including one with 4 bunk beds. It's huge but homely.

Our holiday home features three bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and two double bed bedrooms, one bathroom in the main part of the house and an additional bathroom past the kitchen next to the office/study. Additionally, it boasts a semi-open plan kitchen, living room with large windows overlooking the conservancy and access to a generous patio. The house is located on the edge of Bester street right next to one of the walking trails and conservancy.

The place is clean and well equipped with everything needed for an extended stay. There is a garage and a charming little coffee shop within a very short walking distance. There is also a Seattle Coffee just 3km away, on the way to get back on the highway. Altogether an ideal place to stay between Gauteng and the Cape.

The bedroom features a spacious bed with fresh towels neatly arranged on top. Built-in cupboards are visible alongside the window, allowing natural light to illuminate the room. Soft curtains frame the window, and a ceiling fan contributes to the air circulation.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely weekend at Howard's place. The unit was clean and comfortable,We felt like we were in a hotel . The flexibility Howard offers in regards to checking in or out is also great, we had arrived late at night and he was very understanding of our situation. The unit is well stocked with the necessary cookware and crockery. My husband enjoyed fishing on the dam front and he even caught his first ever fish, which was very memorable. We had a great memorable stay and we plan to return again :)

They are very amazing host. They even allowed us to check-in earlier than the set time. I will definately use them again when i visit freestate again.

My parents and 2 sisters absolutely enjoyed our stay at Elmarie’s quaint beautiful home. It is so neat and styled so perfectly to preserve the classic antique feel. So much attention to detail in the amenities, utilities and kitchen is exceptionally stocked with everything to make you feel at home & for that breakaway from the city. Security was excellent! Elmarie communicated so warmly as a host. Honestly the best host one could wish for!

A well-appointed bedroom features a spacious bed with soft linen, flanked by two nightstands with lamps. Natural light filters through a set of horizontal windows, highlighting the subtle decor and a plush accent blanket at the foot of the bed.

Tenita's place was amazing. She and her two young kids gave me and my family a really warm welcome. The place was spacious, clean and comfortable.

We felt right at home and it was amazing after a long drive from JHB to Lesotho we got a great rest in Fouriesburg and there was a local pub/restaurant, they prepared our meals while we were on the way and it’s a walking distance for when you need a night cap. They were super friendly and I would recommend coming here to get away from the busy city life. I will be making a proper trip there very soon. We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and fresh on arrival. We appreciated the daily cleaning and Sylvia was extremely helpful. The position of the property was private but also gave easy access to the pool and tennis courts. We really enjoyed the amazing views. We also enjoyed the location as we could walk and enjoy the surrounding area. We will definitely return to this gem!

We stayed at the house to visit splashy fen, and although it was a 45 minute drive, it was a wonderful and peaceful and spacious home for our large group. Sani pass is not too far away so do pack passports for the trip. The house is in need of a little maintenance here and there but a beautifully decorated home with a stunning view.
