The Hosta Cabin sits on about 7 acres. We have 450' of lakefront with stairs that give access to Lake Erie. There are two cabins on the property. We live on the property as well. Each cabin has its own fire pit and chairs. While the cabins are next to each other, there is ample space between each. They are close enough if you want to make it a family stay and rent both. Please note, while we have a dog as part of our family, we do not allow guests to bring pets.

You will certainly get your rest! If you come from the North, make sure to stop in for a take out supper at Off-The-Hook Seafood place at the Dunkirk Pier before the last 5 miles to Wisteria Cottage.

The house is beautifully restored, featuring high-end woodwork, finishes, and thoughtful details. The bathrooms were generously stocked with towels, toiletries, and other personal items. The kitchen is spacious, functional, and equipped with every amenity you could need—and more. The grounds are very well maintained. We visited in June when the garden was full of blooming flowers, lush plants, and mature trees—creating a gorgeous setting for outdoor meals. Megan was not only a welcoming host, but she also anticipated our needs and communicated clearly before and throughout our stay. Everyone truly enjoyed the visit, making it a very special experience. Thank you, Megan!

I was there with my son for his Fredonia audition. The check-in and parking instructions were detailed and clear, and when we arrived the apartment was toasty warm in spite of the 12 degree weather. The apartment is beautiful, and clearly decorated with attention to detail. There is a warm, cozy feel while managing to remain uncluttered. Beds were super comfortable with plenty of pillows and comforters for those of us who like to create a 'nest'. Water was nice and hot and we appreciated the shower amenities. The kitchen is well stocked for tea lovers with an amazing selection of teas. Coffee drinkers are not forgotten; there is a keurig with choices that also include hot chocolate. We really enjoyed our stay and regretted having to leave early an not enjoy a leisurely morning in this lovely space. Thank you!
