We are pet friendly (additional $50 per stay, max 2 pets) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.

Located in a historic district of Mount Vernon, the Carriage House has been renovated to infuse modern conveniences with historic charm. Just blocks from downtown, the Carriage House is 2 miles from Mt Vernon Nazarene University and 5.5 miles from Kenyon College. When you stay here the whole house is yours. You do not share any of the space here at Tranquility Cottage.. We are very close to the village of Gambier which is where Kenyon College is located. Apple Valley golf course is 5 minutes away open to public. Mohican State park and canoeing is 20 minutes away in the beautiful village of Loudonville. Lots of fun shops there too. Amish country is approximately an hour away. Historic Roscoe village is also approximately an hour away.

This cabin has a full bed in the loft, sleeper sofa from Lovesac, a full bath, kitchenette, a front deck over looking the beautiful valley with lots of wildlife. The cabin has internet, TV, fridge, and also an outside fire pit grill.

This is our rustic cabin that was built during prohibition and was a moonshiners paradise. There is no electricity and is completely off grid. There is a solar shower, lamps and candles, an RV toilet, gas/charcoal grill, outdoor fireplace, fire ring, picnic table etc. There is a queen size futon inside cabin and a futon with two cots in the screen room.
