“We had a great time at Al’s place. We were welcomed with a picture perfect view as we pulled into the driveway, and with thoughtful touches as we entered the cabin. It was clean, relaxing, and had a rustic yet modern feel to it; we really liked that. The deck set up is great! from the hot tub to the fire pit table and the hanging lights; my favorite thing was listening to the sound of the river combined with the sound of the fire; that was extremely relaxing and helped me get what I was expecting from this trip. The hosts’ communication is prompt and kind. * Remember to check out on time; or you won’t be able to lock the door; we got distracted with the view a few minutes after 11am and couldn’t lock the door since our code expired; Al was understanding when we called and took care of it. Overall, this was a great stay and we would love to come back again.”

“Romans cabin is so cute, and cozy. He came by and dropped off DELICIOUS banana bread. They supply kayaks, a paddle boat, and canoe. The lake also has fish, bring your poles if you like fishing. The property is next to a farm with horses, it was so relaxing sitting out on the deck in the morning looking at all the animals. The neighbors came by the property at night and fish, the stay on the opposite side of the lake, no bother at all. There is a really nice fire pit with a cooking rack, and a coal grill. Perfect get away, so peaceful and charming, with amazing sunsets.”

“Loved this cozy hideaway. Came for a winter weekend with my dog to recharge, and it was perfect to unwind, unplug, and relax. Brett was a stellar host and made sure I had plenty of firewood and warmed up the cabin for my arrival. He even baked me some brownies! Lots of thoughtful touches around the cabin, like the plethora of candles to give you some cozy night time light. There’s plenty of great hiking just a short drive away, or you can wander around the grounds and check out the creek. I’d love to come back when the weathers warm and I can enjoy the fire pit and screen porch.”
