This house was OUTSTANDING. Walkable to downtown Frederick, quiet, beautiful, unique and so very comfortable and well-appointed. We were so grateful to have stayed here and highly recommend this house and host.

Marisa’s place was PERFECT for our stay. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable. The guide was helpful and we loved her suggestions. She assisted us with train schedule to DC. VERY HELPFUL. I will be visiting Frederick again to visit family in the area and will book this property again.

A must see for any Harry Potter fans! We were busy with a wedding weekend in nearby Leesburg, and it was a perfect place to be inbetween events. Lots of Hogwarts themed activities, including creative scavenger hunts and two escape rooms. Our kids and grandkids absolutely loved it. It is really a destination all by itself, and Nate was a perfect host.

We were in town for a graduation Ed’s place was the perfect location and close to everything! Dog friendly and we felt right at home.. the kitchen had plenty of complimentary items and everything we needed to cook😃

Adrienne was very communicative and helpful! The airbnb was very beautiful and in a great part of town! We would love to stay here again when we come back to the area!

Gus and Lexi were great. They were very responsive to any of our needs. They were clear and flexible with a couple of changes to our plans. I would recommend them and their place!

Jenn & Drew’s spot is perfect when visiting Frederick. The apartment is meticulous and the beds are super comfortable. Off street parking was a true plus. Waking up to a view of Baker Park is such a treat. Can’t wait to return. Many thanks for a great visit.

It was a wonderful stay at Camilla’s place. If I ever need to book again locally to Sykesville, I will definitely stay with her. The area is clean, easy to get into and had a relaxing atmosphere.

We had a great stay with Nancy for a weekend getaway. The location was clean and simple, providing just what we needed to lounge before we were able to take a few short trips to Harper's Ferry, Shepherdstown, and Frederick. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and check-in was straightforward and easy. It's a great find if you're looking for a spot to act as a quick respite between local travel - there's no TV or large furniture to lounge, which was just fine for our needs. The wifi did drop out occassionally, and the service (Verizon) didn't provide great coverage as a backup, so something to keep in mind if critical to stay connected. It was a quaint and comfortable experience and very affordable as a launching point to multiple nearby towns. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want something simple, cozy, and accessible.

Very responsive host. The side yard is very nice for people with dogs that travel. Location is very nice but DC traffic during rush hour can be rough but this can be planned for. Would stay again.

My husband and I love staying here and come once to twice a year. Butch and Lynn are very responsive and the nest is cozy and clean. We always look forward to our stay!

Highly recommend Ann’s place! We traveled with our toddler, and it was perfect for him. They supplied a pack and play and tons of board books. My only thing to note is that the walkway to the space is not paved so be aware with small children and suitcases.

What a wonderful retreat! I can't think of a better place to stay where you're surrounded by books, art and the countryside.

Kim’s place was great! Our stay was brief but the place was exactly as described and nice and clean. We had a minor issue during check in and Kim and Dave were very quick to respond and assist. We would definitely recommend.

This was a perfect stay in a beautiful condo with a terrific host. There was nothing more you could ask for. Katie's condo was as neat as a pin, had everything I needed, and was both easily accessible to everything I wanted to get to, but restful and quiet. I liked it so much. I added it on an extra night.

Ben’s place is exactly as described me and my family enjoyed our stay. I felt right at home, when I’m visiting my sister in the near future I will definitely stay again.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Thank you Sean, Megan and Loren for all your helpfulness and a lovely stay!

We had a terrific experience. We were familiar with the area as we lived in Old Town a few years ago so the location was easy for us. If you are unfamiliar with the locations I can tell you it is easily walkable to King Street and many other amenities are nearby. Amanda is a great host - the apartment was perfect for the 2 of us to stay, it was immaculate and was everything she described. Amanda is very responsive, friendly and her directions for accessing the apartment were very clear. We would definitely stay again on a future visit.

This listing is just as good as advertised, with a convenient location close to popular spots throughout the DMV area. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated the free on-site parking. The home was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with modern gadgets that made the stay even more comfortable.
