In 2004 we built 5 cozy lodges. Each lodge can accomodate 4 persons. There is toilet/shower in each lodge. All our houses are located less then a mile from the queens summer residence at Fredensborg Castle You can go shopping in Fredensborg. Distance: 1,5 Km. The cabin is situated right on the banks of our "put & take" lake and newly established and very popular trout stream (the only one in Denmark). The environment around Fredensborg is scenic, tranquil and well-suited for families with children. We are in the process of planning a childrens playground. There are two large grill placed directly on the bank of the lake. Or you can use the grill on the terrace at the house. We have a shop selling fishing gear, fast food, beer/beverages, etc. The shop is open every day from 7 AM till sundown. The city of Fredensborg is approximately 1 km from Fredensborg Holiday homes. Shopping in Fredensborg includes 3 supermarkets, 3 banks, bakers, restaurants, postoffice, etc. We have a good contact with a number of tourist informations which means that we can suggest various sights and excursions. Distances: Copenhagen 35 minutes, Helsingør 10 minutes, Hillerød 10 minutes and Helsingborg in Sweden 35 minutes.

Enjoy the culture of the surrounding area and then return to our quiet surroundings, where you might hear the sparrow or the night owl, see a frog jump across the road – or catch a glimpse of a deer gently moving through the garden at dusk. 🌾🌲🦉 We offer a newly renovated annex with its own entrance, living room, kitchen as well as toilet and bathroom. Here you can relax in peaceful surroundings and enjoy the cozy atmosphere – perhaps with a cup of coffee on the terrace overlooking the garden and the open fields.

Tree top hut 6 meters up - fully heated

Welcome to our cozy treetop cabin, built from recycled materials - 6.2 m above the ground. The cabin overlooks the fields, is insulated, has electricity, heating, a tea kitchen and a comfortable sofa that turns into a small double bed. Enjoy the two terraces and running water in the treetop and toilet with sink below the cabin. Optional add-on: Breakfast (DKK 175/2 pers.) - wilderness bath (DKK 350) or one of our 2 outdoor 'escape rooms' (DKK 150/children, DKK 200/adults). The calendar is opened continuously!

Slap af i denne unikke og rolige bolig med masser af plads både inde og ude. 3 værelser med plads til 6 personer samt en sovesofa i den ene stue med plads til 2 personer. Ydeligere et nyrenoveret værelse i kælder med gulvvarme med plads til 2. Boligen ligger centralt med kort afstand til by, slotspark og Esrum sø. Grill og pizzaovn, samt lækre loungemøbler på den store terrasse. Gåafstand fra Fredensborg Slot og slotspark. Swimmingpool på 8x4x1,5 med saltvand og varmepumpe for opvarmning.

Modern and child-friendly house with cozy terrace

Beautiful newly renovated house of 200 sqm in beautiful Nødebo - right next to Esrum Lake with bathing facilities. Close to beautiful nature with playgrounds and forest. Located within 10 minutes drive by car to Hillerød and Fredensborg Castle. There is a trampoline for the children in the garden and a wonderful courtyard/terrace. Free Wi-Fi (fiber) is available. It is only 15 minutes by car to amazing sandy beaches. 40 minutes by car to Copenhagen. Large supermarket within 500 meters.

Atmospheric annex in the middle of Fredensborg

Stay in our cozy annex in the middle of the castle town, close to the castle, the shopping street, the lake and several beautiful eateries. The annex is about 30 sqm and you will sleep in a loft with a double bed (180 cm wide). There is a shower, kitchenette (1 hot plate), sofa, dining table and your private east-facing terrace with stunning views of Fredensborg. The annex was built by August Bournonville (ballet master), who from 1854-1879 used the main house as a summer residence.

Family-friendly accommodation close to beach and forest

Family-friendly accommodation in scenic surroundings. There is plenty of room for two adults and 2-3 children. We have a sweet, black cat, Bob, who wants food in his cat bowl morning and evening:) There is a common football field, swimming lake and trampoline for free use. You can also fish in the lake. The fish just have to be thrown out again. It is about 30 km to Copenhagen, which you can get to by car or by train from Humlebæk. The beach is 5 minutes away.

Large villa next to Queens castle & Danish riviera

Classic and beautiful brick house from 1935 with a beautiful garden. 3 min walk from the Queen of Denmarks summer residence and 3 min to the royal garden at Fredensborg Castle. 5 min walk to beautiful Esrum Lake where you can swin. Only 17 minutes drive to beautiful Hornmbæk and some of the best beaches in Denmark. Also close to Helsingør and Kronbog Castle as well as Lousiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk and Karen Blixen´s home in Rungsted Kyset.

Large house for the whole family

Bring the whole family and your friends to this amazing home with plenty of space. Enjoy your stay with swimming/paddle boarding in Esrum Lake and beautiful walks in Grib Forest. Both are right by the house. In the large garden is a large beautiful terrace where you can sit and enjoy the long evenings. There's a big trampoline and a swing set. There are 3 paddle boards with life jackets, which you can freely use to sail on the lake. Welcome.

Welcome to our beloved, green, high ceiling and modern two-story house in Humlebæk - the perfect haven for a holiday in Denmark and Copenhagen. The house is nicely decorated in Scandinavian style and very family friendly. A brief 500m walk will take you to a fantastic kids-friendly beach and central Copenhagen is only 30 min by train or 35km by car. We love living here and are excited to share our experience with you!
