Vacation rentals with a patio in Franklin County

We lucked out when Jason and his wife listed their place at the last minute for eclipse viewing. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable in an apartment that was, I believe, unfurnished just a few days before. I booked it expecting the bare minimum (mattresses on the floor of an otherwise empty place, which honestly, would have still been great) and was pleasantly surprised when we had linens, towels, toiletries, even snacks and bottles of water. They provided a wonderful list of local recommendations (DEFINITELY get a creemie down the street at Devyn's!) and a TV with Netflix too. The location is sublime, close to the interstate without requiring any travel on dirt roads, an easy drive to St Albans, but practically inside a wildlife refuge and with a gorgeous waterfront view right in the backyard. Jason was responsive to all my questions and met us upon arrival to give us a tour. We were focused on the eclipse but we'd love to come back someday to really explore the area.

This was a great surprise. The hosts were fantastic. We were there for the Total Solar Eclipse that Jessica and Dave were more than accommodating ..even surprising us with eclipse glasses! The whole areas is friendly, kind, and absolutely stunning.

The condo was exactly as described in listing and better. Very, very clean with many amenities. Joy was very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect base for a ski trip to Jay Peak, about 10 minutes away. Nothing fancy, but pleasant, comfortable and roomy. Everything worked as it should. Located right in the center of the village of Montgomery Center next to restaurants, food market and ski shop.

We rented Angela’s place for two nights while we were having some work done at our own home in the same town. She was flexible with our arrival time, which was a huge help. The place was stocked with everything we could have needed, from games and toys for our kiddo, to snacks , eggs, and a bottle of wine! We all felt right at home there. My husband and I were able to work during the day, great WiFi. The neighborhood is quiet and we were able to go out for walks with the dog as needed. We highly recommend Angela’s place to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to stay while visiting Milton or the surrounding areas.

Great cabin! Love the wood work! Custom cabinets. Its location allows for easy arrival and departure. Lessons learned during the prior mud season!

This was the coolest little cabin in the woods. Its looks are very deceiving from outside; I thought it looked like a pretty average cabin in the woods. Inside it was so nice and homey. It was extremely clean, had way more space than I thought it would, and was peaceful and quiet. Jay Peak was about 10 minutes away. Local restaurants were good. No AT&T cell service at the house but the StarLink internet was fast and worked flawlessly. Hot water was always hot, toilets always flushed. No issues at all

The home is absolutely gorgeous inside and out, with a wonderful view of Lake Champlain from all but one room. There is a surprising amount of space with lots of little nooks for folks who want a bit of privacy from other guests during their stay. The kitchen is well appointed and I was able to find every utensil or dishware/glassware that I would want. the instructions for using the hot tub are easy to follow and it provided a wonderful way to look at over the lake. The outside landscaping is extremely well done and, weather cooperating, provides even more space for the guests. The area is very peaceful and is a great please to unwind and/or read.

We LOVED Jennifer’s place! It was the perfect spot for a family gathering. The home was spotless, all appliances appeared to be new and/or state of the art. The home was warm and comfortable with every amenity you could ask for, and idyllically situated on Lake Champlain. We were in Vermont for UVM commencement weekend. The 30-minute drive to Jenn’s place from Burlington provided a nice respite from all the graduation hubbub. What at first seemed like a drawback (distance) was actually a blessing. We would happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Mark’s cabin. We skied at Stowe and although it was about 50 minutes away, it was an easy drive and close enough to other local things to do. I would definitely return in the future!

Fiona’s place is absolutely stunning! I went for a birthday trip with a few friends during the coldest weekend of the year, and our stay exceeded expectations! Fiona was beyond communicative and the house had amazing amenities that kept us busy including games, gym equipment, and a sauna! The house was extremely close to smuggler’s notch and was a great place to gather and enjoy time with friends! We would love to visit again!

We are repeat visitors and loved our stay again. The home and property are wonderful for our annual group trip. It is away from the crowds of the mountain and downtown Stowe, but yet so close. The view, the natural surroundings, the privacy make it just the escape we need. The space has lots of separate areas so kids can and adults can all find areas to play, read, watch something on TV, stare out the windows, or cook and hang out in the kitchen. It checks all our boxes.

Michelle has always been a great host and her place is always a great place to stay when in town.

We had an amazing family ski trip at Smuggs with John’s condo in Tamaracks area. John was super responsive and helpful before and during our stay, although there was little issue/need for support due to the clear and easy listing. We have been to Smuggs many times, but not stayed on the North Hill side before. It worked out fine with the shuttles, which came when called within 5-15min most times. We love Smuggs and John and the supporting organizations made this stay wonderful! We would definitely rent here again!

Great location. No need to drive once there. Walk to lifts, restaurants and activities!
