The Tannery House is a beautiful and peaceful retreat. It’s secluded, with no nearby neighbors, which made for a relaxing and private stay. We especially enjoyed the gaming room and the jacuzzi, both were great highlights of our trip. There are a couple of things to note: cell phone service is limited, and the Wi-Fi is quite slow, so plan accordingly if you need to stay connected. Also, there wasn’t a chopping board in the kitchen, but otherwise, it was fully equipped with everything we needed. It’s about a 9-minute drive to the nearest grocery store, which was very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We were in the area for a FORD car show in Carlisle and the location was great. Very peaceful. Be sure to check out the King's Bakery there nearby.

Great space for 2 families with kids. We didn’t realize how lovely was the garden until we got there. The stream of water was a real perk! The double bunk bed for the kids was a great set-up but squeaky and unstable, not suitable for adults. Overall a great stay!

My wife and I booked this airbnb to take some time to get away, and it was well worth the trip. Close to Gettysburg, and plenty to do at the property itself. We would gladly stay at this beautiful home again!

We stopped here on the way to the beach and felt right at home. The home was clean and spacious, and our host was prompt to answer questions. Our family highly recommends this location to other travelers coming through, or to, the area!

Home was as described, very clean, and appears recently refreshed. The latter exceeded expectations. Very convenient location if you're in the area for Academy events. Check in was easy and the host was responsive to communication. No complaints.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious and pristinely kept Airbnb. We were in the area for our son's graduation, and the house was perfect for our family to call home for the weekend. Stephanie was very communicative leading up to our stay and made sure we had the information we needed to easily access the home. Upon arrival, the home was immaculately kept! Every room was clean--from corner to corner--and beautifully decorated and welcoming. There were accommodating details at every turn--smores kits, corn hole, travel accessories--Stephanie thought of everything to make our stay feel special! Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will certainly be back to enjoy this home.

This was exactly what we needed. Very cute space with everything you would need! My boyfriend and I were traveling long distance and wanted a quiet place to rest before we continued the rest of our trip and this place was exactly that (thank you for same-day booking options). This place was a great getaway for my family for Thanksgiving weekend. The property itself has enough to enjoy that you never need to leave from the fire pit, to lawn games, walks in the woods and sitting on the outdoor porch admiring the beautiful mountains at sunrise and sunset. As for the house it was spotless and the kitchen provided everything one would need to cook a feast from pots and pans, to tin foil and plastic wrap, and matches and newspaper to light fires. It was great not having to bring everything from home and all the little things the host thought to provide made the weekend that more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic place for a short term stay. I will say the rooms are fairly small but great if you don’t plan on spending much time in the room. The hosts are super nice and will do anything to make sure your stay is the best as it can be.

This place was absolutely amazing! It was extremely clean and beautifully decorated! The hosts left a nice handwritten note welcoming us and giving local food recommendations. They were also very flexible and accommodating! We felt very comfortable there and would 100% stay again!

A quaint place, clean. A historic building in a historic town. I enjoyed walking to the “Texas Lunch” for breakfast? Then throughout the “square” in downtown. The creek was adjacent where you can watch and feed the ducks with the supplied frozen peas! I enjoyed my visit to my birthplace.
