Vacation rentals with breakfast in Franklin County

We were in the area to visit Antietam National Battlefield which was well worth it! We were very happy that Phyllis's place was available. It was clean, charming, and cozy. It was well thought out with everything working together to create a cohesive, period atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovingly renovated home.

At Walnut Hill Manor you will find your hosts Macklin, Anastasia, and Seth to be extraordinarily gracious and accommodating. You will also find the home itself to be beautiful, comfortable, and steeped in local history. The area is absolutely fabulous and its residents very welcoming. Whether you are interested in history, hiking, bicycling, or simply relaxing, this is the place. If you just need a place to rest in your travels, you will find this to be a true gem! This was our second visit to Walnut Hill Manor and most certainly will not be our last. The hosts are interested in serving the community and humanity in a very meaningful way. Staying at the guest house at Long Acres Alpaca Farm was such a peaceful and unique experience! The setting is serene, surrounded by rolling hills and, of course, the charming alpacas that made the whole stay extra special. The guest house itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed-comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen with some fruit and snacks, and lovely touches that made it feel like home. We also appreciated the opportunity to see and interact with the alpacas. Sarah was warm, welcoming, and happy to share about the farm and the animals, which added a personal and memorable touch to our stay. Highly recommend this stay if you’re looking for a peaceful countryside retreat with a little something extra.
