Immaculate, well equipped,spacious single story house with secure parking. Garden room / dining room overlooked spacious patio, garden and heated swimming pool. Beach and restaurants about a mile away at Amorosa. Gabriel provided an excellent welcome pack of wine, milk, bread, butter etc. (and a bag of lemons the following day. ) He responded quickly to any questions and was flexible. We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay.

Sem dúvida umas férias para repetir, recomendo a quem procura sossego, tranquilidade e natureza! A casa está muito bem equipada, decorada e tem uma vista incrível! Durante a nossa estadia pudemos ainda desfrutar da deliciosa fruta que tem na Quinta de Fundevila (onde se encontra inserida a casa). Em relação a localização, não podia ser melhor, em poucos minutos a pé esta-se no centro de Arco de Baúlhe ou da antiga estação de comboios, onde não falta coisas para ver e explorar. É de salientar que os restaurantes na zona são todos muito bons, assim como a padaria e ficam a poucos minutos da casa. A Regina e o Alberto são uns anfitriões muito atenciosos e calorosos, mimaram-nos muitooo! Muito obrigada por tudo, já temos saudades <3

Surribes was fantastic. It was exactly as it looked in the photos, comfortable and great for a relaxing stay. Rita was a great host, checked us in smoothly and on hand to answer questions. Happy to recommend.

As a family with a lot of teens, I loved how many spaces this house had for hanging out. Also, having so many rooms with two single beds instead of shared beds is so nice when you have a lot of teens along. The outdoor spaces are so beautiful and peaceful and the yard is full of plants and flowers. We enjoyed the ease to reach Guimarães. We would happily return to this lovely home.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön! Es ist alles sehr sauber und die Ausstattung lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hat uns bestens empfangen und beraten bei Fragen Gerne wieder!

A estadia na Casa dos Cavaleiros foi fantástica, ótimo lugar para relaxar em família e contemplar a natureza. Orlando nos auxiliou desde o início, facilitou o check-in antecipado e nos orientou sobre restaurantes locais. Dona Adelaide nos fez sentir em casa, nos presenteou com um walking tour pelos vinhedos e apresentou a Quinta da Cruz explicando todo o processo de produção do vinho da família além de partilhar muitas histórias de vida. Família Schindler agradece!

It was an outstanding stay! A lot of space, everything what you need is provided. Peace, nature, sparking clear river. Dream house!

Un grand merci à Sergio pour son accueil dans un parfait français: une petite bouteille et de délicieux pasteis nous attendaient au frigo. Il a été de très bon conseil pour nous indiquer les visites à faire aux alentours. Le logement était tout à fait conforme à la description. Sergio possède une belle et grande maison très propre. Le jardin est très agréable mais malheureusement nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de trop l'utiliser car le temps ne nous le permettait pas.

Fim de semana de grupo de amigos: A estadia na casa da granja foi excelente, todas as casas muito bem equipadas com decoração e limpeza 5*, várias comodidades nomeadamente berço e cadeira para bebé. Área da piscina com cadeiras e sombras, a faltar apenas um guarda sol. Salão de jogos com bilhar e área de refeições no exterior com barbecue. Tudo o que precisam para relaxar e conviver entre amigos!

We were 2 families staying together and we had ample space in this well appointed sizeable villa in sleepy local village outside of Viana do Castelo, which is a nice town. There are a few local restaurants in the village and a cafe/bar a short walk down by the river. The river wasn't swim-able though. We spent time relaxing by the lovely saltwater pool which isn’t overlooked and is set in the secluded gardens overlooking fields. We felt a car was essential to visit local towns and national parks. The cleaner came mid way through our 2 week stay and changed bedding towels and cleaned throughout, which was a nice bonus. Jose was there to greet us and gave us helpful local advice We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and would recommend the villa.

We had an amazing stay. The place was perfect for a family vacation. The location was peaceful and the nature surrounding was beautiful. The house was spacious and the pool area was great! We had everything we needed. Totally recommend it! 😊

Absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to go back!!! Adrianne was great dropping by each morning to have a little tidy in the kitchen and make breakfast. The view of the Douro valley from poolside and the rooms was incredible. Can’t say enough good things about our stay!

We spent a few days with the handballteam in porto and we had enough space for all of us. the appartement had everything we needed and the communication with the owner was easy, fast and very helpfull. we can only recommend.

Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful gardens, pool and house. Marcus is a very good host, and looked after us so well - bringing us little gifts like fresh orange juice just made the experience so much better. One of our children really wanted to keep a huge lemon he’d found in the garden but we told him he would have to ask. Instead of just saying no, or yes, Marcus said “sure, but why don’t we make some lemonade together!”. Just so thoughtful and kind. The house is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Lots of attention to detail. Pool is very large and everything is perfectly clean. Marcus and Rick really did go out of their way to ensure our stay was successful without ever being intrusive, so please don’t hesitate to book!

This place is beautiful, with amazing breakfast of eggs, bacon, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, and lots of other treats. It was a real highlight at a time flexible to you. The gardens and surrounds are stunning as well as the pool & terrace. We stayed as a group of 10 mid 40s ladies and had a fab time.. just not long enough. The breakfast staff were lovely. The rooms with all their ensuite bathrooms were brilliant and the sound insulation was impressive. The host was also very informative and responsive. Don't hesitate just book it!

we were a group of 10 people and spent the weekend during the famous Sra D'Agonia festivities. The house is extremely comfortable, the staff very helpful. it was amazing to be so close to the center of Viana to enjoy several events but also have a base where we could enjoy time in the pool, cook, and eat as a group of friends. the piano was a very nice plus. an element of our group plays and it felt so much more intimate to be able to enjoy him playing for us.

heel fijn appartement op een fijne lokatie op loopafstand van het strand en voorzieningen aldaar. geschikt voor strandvakantie, maar ook goede uitvalbasis voor andere activiteiten. fijn, ruim appartement voorzien van echt van alles. vriendelijke en meedenkende hosts, bereikbaar voor vragen. zeker een aanrader!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und entspannten Aufenthalt bei Marília. Sie hat uns persönlich zur Ankunft und Abreise begrüßt und verabschiedet. Das Haus ist toll eingerichtet und der schöne Pool lädt zum entspannen ein. Der Ausblick in die Berge ist der absolute Wahnsinn. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unsere beiden Hunde auch :-) Eine absolute Empfehlung !!!

pasamos 3 días en este alojamiento. Desde que cruzamos la puerta nos encanto cada detalle y adorno que tiene la casa, es una chulada. La bio-piscina que tiene a un par de minutos andando de la casa,en medio de un montón de fincas y viñas es el toque que hace que se gane es sobresaliente. Eduarda muy atenta y amable. es un sitio para guardar y volver de nuevo. muchas gracias

Wir haben perfekte 3 Tage in dem Haus am See verbracht und wollten eigentlich viele Sachen unternehmen aber das Haus und der Ort hat uns so Gut gefallen das wir einfach nur dort geblieben sind.

This is an extremely comfortable place. And so cozy and quiet that we slept in every morning! The floor plan is smart and lends to separate living spaces. The garden is lovely. It can feel a little damp but that seems to be the norm in Portugal, and it is easily resolved with a little heat from the mini-splits. We took walks in the neighborhood every evening, and visited nearby beaches, waterfalls, and Viana do Castelo during the day.

We hadden 3 uur vertraging maar werden hartelijk ontvangen door Sandra! Het huis en de tuin zijn groot en voldeed aan alle verwachtingen! Omgeving is prachtig om te wandelen! Mooi zwembad (helaas niet verwarmd). Het enige wat ontbrak is een tuintafel! Wij hebben enorm genoten!

Absolute dream of a place. Stunning grounds, surrounded by the most gorgeous gardens, lush greenery and the sound of the birds. Great swimming pool to chill after a day exploring the region. The accommodation is 5*, comfy beds and bedding, all the kitchen amenities and set up was perfect and comfortable for our group of 4 adults and two children. José was always available to give us recommendations of restaurantes, wineries and more, and Hugo always around to help with anything you need. Ah, also fresh bread every morning - so thoughtful. We had an unforgettable stay and will cherish our time at Villa Margaridi for years to come! Obrigada!

The house is incredible — a beautifully renovated old mansion with plenty of space for the whole family. We were a large family group of all ages, and everyone felt right at home. There were lots of toys for the kids, as well as a pool and a small playground outside. We loved the garden; it was just a pity that the weather wasn’t ideal, so we couldn’t enjoy it fully. One great feature for bigger groups is the number of bathrooms, along with the huge living room, which has a large TV and plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. I personally loved the kitchen, which was fully equipped with every appliance we could possibly need. Last but not least, there is also a small vegetable garden open to guests — we enjoyed a few onions and used some fresh lemons for our tea. :) Antonio was very responsive and helped us promptly whenever we had any issues. We truly hope to return to this beautiful place someday!
