Purlie Lodge Apartment

Our apartment is situated in a peaceful, rural location with stunning views across the tree tops to the Monadhliath Mountains beyond. A great place to relax and unwind. From your doorstep you can take walks high above Loch Ness in the Abriachan Forest Trust. It is an ideal base to capture the scenery and spirit of the Highlands. We have regular visits from red squirrels, pine martens, deer (behind the garden fence) as they eat my plants and over 23 species of birds during the year.

Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Chalet No 1 is a 3 bedroom property with hot tub, open space living dining and kitchen area. The park is located 30 minutes drive from Inverness and 5 minutes drive from Kiltarlity. Distance to Loch Ness is 8 miles. There is a local grocery shop and Post Office in the village of Kiltarlity and there is also a small tea room which serves home baking.

Forester's Bothy, cosy studio.

This newly built, open plan studio has a woodburning stove, great views and is ideally suited for exploration of Loch Ness, NC500 and the hills, glens and beaches of north Scotland. The hosts live next door, but the studio has its own private garden area and plenty of parking. There are lovely walks from the door through fields and forest, and a chance to see the Northern Lights. The cabin is in a peaceful rural setting, but only 12 miles from the city of Inverness.
