Vacation rentals with breakfast in Fox River

If I could give this stay 6 stars I would!!! The most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere so close to everything you’d want to do at Silver Lake. Kathleen is absolutely SUPERhost status and even saved the day by providing some warm clothes when we came unprepared for the cooler weather we encountered. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Marissa was great throughout the process of booking as well as getting me all the info needed for a great stay. Wifi passwords, lock combo, etc. before we got there and all sorts of info on the chalkboard and pamphlet when we got there. One of the best AirBnb's I've stayed at and the location is ridiculous...less than 15 minutes from the airport and less than 15 minutes to the ballpark. Highways all nearby to get on the road, etc. House was perfect for 2 people with the 2 bedrooms. Would also be perfect for 2 couples...but I was with my 80 year old Dad and there was NO WAY I was sharing a bed with him. Just as comparison for how much I loved this location and this house...when we got back to Boston, it took me over 2 hours to get home...around 35 miles. I'd rather just punch myself in the face with a brick than deal with that. Great trip for us. Saw a lot and got the old man to Delavan to hang with his Air Force buddy/best man - both 80 years old. My partner & I had a wonderful stay at “This Must Be the Place”. Was truly a relaxing getaway! Michael was very informative throughout our trip & his home was so cozy & peaceful. Everything is also very close by! So many independent owned restaurants & stores! We definitely enjoyed sitting in the patio all while cooking on the grill & watching the fire pit! 🌿

Had a great 2 night stay. Everything was clean and exactly as pictures and described. Very cute decor/theme. The layout was great for us, family with older teens. Lots of space and TVs. Great restaurants and some shopping within walking distance. Really good value. Walk to the beach and trails. We were in town for a nearby event and really enjoyed the area this place was in. Host was very responsive and answered questions beforehand. We had no issues with our stay at all and would absolutely recommend.

We always stay at The Baldwin House when we visit family in Streator. We feel right at home and most everything is a short walk away. The park, Walgreens, a delicious bakery, coffee shops, fabulous restaurants, and unique shopping. I highly recommend Toni's Airbnb and the restaurants, Good Morning, Good Day and Gaetano's Vault. We sleep and eat well in Streator. 💛😊

Had a wonderful 2 day stay. Best Airbnb I’ve experienced in the area while visiting family. Barbara and Fritz thought of absolutely everything. All the little extra touches were so thoughtful and made me smile. Excellent WiFi to do some work in between visiting family. Having a parking spot in the driveway was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Will definitely stay here again when I visit family.

Kyle is an amazing host and this was our best Airbnb experience EVER! The home was in excellent condition and we loved the history. The amenities were very thoughtful and we were grateful to have a selection of drinks and snacks when we arrived. I highly recommend the Schlitz Castle and we would definitely stay again.

Jay was a great host. Responded quickly to questions. The house was very well equipped. We had everything we needed to make a meal or make ourselves comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. We had a vary nice stay

We loved our stay in the Pink House, which felt truly like a home away from home with everything we could possibly need. You can tell how thoughtful Niki and Sean are about their space and that they care about their guests having a lovely time - especially appreciated the comfy linens and snacks! Perfect location too with an easy walk to the L and plenty to discover just by wandering around the immediate neighborhood. Niki has all the recs.

Staying at Jenny's place was fantastic! She was always responsive and helpful. The apartment itself was cozy and pretty quiet, especially for a Chicago unit. I hope to stay there again in the future!

Felt right at home, right away. Love the mood of the place, beautiful decoration, cozy spaces throughout. My wife loved the soaker tub, melted her stresses away. Always found street parking right in front of the apartment each evening. Smooth trip into Chicago whenever the mood struck us. The mattress is definitely firm. If that suits you and your back, you are going to love this spot like we did!

Mouna was super kind and very helpful with giving recommendations and instructions to get in and out and so on. This was my first experience with Airbnb and she made it as easy as humanly possible.

We loved staying here! We came for Memorial Day weekend and had never been to Port Washington. It is a beautiful small town on the water with a great downtown. The place was super clean and cozy! We thought it was even better in person than it looked in the pictures. Elle was very responsive, left good recommendations for town, and even had eggs, yogurt and fruit for us to make breakfast in the morning. 10/10 highly recommended staying here!

Carol's place was lovely. I stayed here with my long distance partner as I was seeing her for the first time and we felt right at home, we almost didnt want to leave. Carol provided a warm and welcoming home for us, gave us all of our bare essentials and we felt very safe. The building is beautiful, comfortable and she was kind enough to provide guides for us as it was my first time staying in the area. She was very responsive and was kind enough to make sure we had an easy time checking in. I highly recommend it here if youre looking for somewhere to call your temporary home on your trip ♡

My friends and I really enjoyed our time at the Great House. We made a point to spend time in every room as each room offered a different but classic feel. I have to say, the house really enhanced our trip. I highly recommend staying there. The hosts also provided us with everything we needed from a charcuterie try to a nice simple breakfast. Great experience all around.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Steampunk Manor Bed & Breakfast. We stayed in The Rose Room for 2 nights. The room itself was beautiful and so were all the other rooms we were allowed to sit in. There were SO many interesting things to look at. Even a mandolin that Carl played for a bit and a pump organ we could try to play. The wrap around deck was lovely! We enjoyed it on 3 separate occasions - once to just sit and rocked on the porch swing, once as we sipped wine at one of the tables loving all the beautiful flowers and again in the morning sipping coffee at another table. And the 3 course breakfasts were superb! Never have we had such great food at an AirBnB that we stayed it. AMAZING! Daniel and Irina were wonderful hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at this fabulous bed and breakfast. ♥♥♥

I unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute - but Christianne and Patrick were still so incredibly thoughtful. They sent me the weather forecast in advance as a heads up for packing, and even some encouragement for getting through an emergency situation at home (despite the fact that I was doing them a total disservice with a last minute cancellation). I would look to stay with them again in the future as priority #1 if in Chicago! They clearly understand what it means to go above and beyond on the hospitality front!!

Mary's place was a great location for our short trip to Chicago! It was a short Uber drive from the airport, and a short drive to the All-State Arena. We did arrive late at night due to flight delays and opted for an Uber versus the train. I am glad we did cause it seems like the train station is under construction for the side we needed and would have been a bit more of a walk departing from the other side, but definitely not a dealbreaker or anything. The house is a short walk from this breakfast place that we actually went to twice during our short stay, with other options nearby. Overall, the house felt cozy and clean, but we did struggle with getting in the bathroom first thing in the morning with the other guests in the house during our stay. Mary was very responsive and a great host to us during our stay. The bed was comfortable as well and the room had amble space for a large suitcase, a carry-on, and two large bags with space to spare for two people.

The hosts are incredibly thorough, super friendly, very helpful, and beyond my expectations! My daughter ran the half marathon and her boyfriend ran the marathon. I made posters for her and her boyfriend and she gave me markers to use, as well as offered to print out pictures for them!! The attention to detail and the hospitality was A+++++! Thank you so much!

This is probably the most elegant, classic home I could imagine. The restoration of this vintage home is marvelous. The breakfast supplies, friendly, helpful hosts and ease of parking all combined to make this a fabulous stay. I highly recommend this home.
