Cosy, warm and comfortable with lovely views and sunsets.There were many thoughtful touches to make this a perfect stay. Val and Andy have thought of everything and want to ensure their guests have a great stay. There were generous breakfast provisions including freshly pressed orange juice as well as snacks, fruit and homemade preserves. We enjoyed the local wildlife and the peaceful surrounds. It was a good base for exploring the Wilson’s Prom and nearby areas.

My dog and I had a wonderful, relaxing time staying at Shed ‘n’ Home. The surrounds are stunning with beautiful places to go walking and explore. The house was really nice, clean and very well equipped. Andrew was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Great location for high country get away to do some bushwalking near Hotham and enjoy catching up with friends by the wood fire.

A wonderful, peaceful place! The views are beautiful. Especially at dawn. Friendly host and animals. Rolly, the canine concierge, especially. Our dogs particularly loved this Airbnb. Probably their most favorite ever! Excellent gravel bike rides close by. The house is an authentic Australian farmhouse. A mixture of eclectic design elements. Very loved and visited by treasured family. Staying here took me back to visiting friend's parents farms fifty years ago! Except for the sparkling new Bali inspired bathroom! Very comfy beds, warm living spaces, heaps of kitchen things, a wonderful library and a strong sense of family history. No airs and graces. Honest, country hospitality. Congratulations on a lovely place! We loved our stay and hope to return.

We had a lovely time at this peaceful getaway. The location was perfect—close enough to local attractions, yet quiet and relaxing. Our host was warm and welcoming when we arrived, which made us feel right at home. One of the highlights for our daughter was feeding the cows every evening—she absolutely loved it! We also enjoyed swimming in the river. While we didn’t manage to catch any fish or yabbies, it was still a fun and memorable experience. A great stay overall—we’d definitely come back again!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to getaway! Close to so many beautiful lookouts/ trails; i would say a perfect location. We noticed Kim had taken extra effort to make this home as comfortable as possible. Love that they provided firewood for us and the absolutely clean bedrooms. Lucky got to meet their friendly dog Hugo on our way out! Would totally come back.

Very nice and cosy place. First of all is the cleanness. Very clean bedroom and bathrooms. We went there in a cold weather but they provided electronic blankets for both the bedrooms and also left the lights and air con on. Very thoughtful hosts. We arrived in a dark night but they also had other small lights on the road to guide the way. We had a great stay there with a very good price. Thank you for having us! Appreciate it!

One of the best air bnbs I’ve stayed at. Has everything you need and more. Felt very homely, super clean, amazing space to relax in, nice decor, coffee machine and snacks were so good! Hosts were amazing, friendly and respond fast. No issues at all. Will be coming back in future

Angela and Neil's location was sensational. The place oozed quality and cleanliness with a lot of space that was terrific for my wife and I to relax and unwind. There was so much accurate and useful information to do bushwalks or use a water taxi and how to use every appliance that was there, along with them having thought of every need of their guests. The welcoming was amazing with a nice surprise waiting for us in the fridge. The surrounds were immaculate and we had an amazing walk around the property and just loved every moment of it. Truly enjoyed this so much and could not be more happy with the choice we made.

I have never stayed at a more beautiful BnB before! We had the most beautiful wholesome stay amongst he highland cows, sheep, goats and chickens! Couldn’t recommend this place enough, Felicia is super friendly and even left out carrots for us to feed the cows upon arrival. Will definitely coming back!

The place is a wonderful place to stay at. Nerissa responded to my enquiry fast too. And nice to meet Nerissa with her Buffy & Oreo. The children are excited when Buffy & Oreo greeted them in the morning.

It was a brilliant stay! The house is much better than in photos and our expectations. Everything was very well equipped, very tastefully decorated and very well thought out. The surrounding area is very beautiful as well, we enjoyed having the horses in our backyard. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, serene and magical escape.

The property is beautiful and Melanie’s promises about wildlife were spot on! Highly recommend if in need of a retreat and some R&R. The weekend we went was wet and cold, but the fire was toasty and there were plenty of activities to keep us occupied. It was also just a short drive from a couple of general stores so had no issues getting supplies.

We had a lovely stay at Wairere Rest. The outdoor bath was a real highlight. It was the perfect cosy winter getaway, with such beautiful surroundings. The bed was also so comfy! Thank you :)

Perfect house just outside the national park. Amazing for anyone looking for a peaceful time with nature on the doorstep.

Bob’s Cottage was the most beautiful AirBnB that we have stayed in. The surroundings need to be seen to be believed, simply stunning. It’s the most private relaxing cottage, the perfect place to disconnect and recharge. Fenella was a wonderful host, very informative prior to arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is immaculately clean, again we have never stayed in an AirBnB as pristine as this one. We will certainly be going back.

Mark was gracious knowledgeable and helpful. The space is beautiful cozy and warm on a chilly winter day. If you love birds don’t forget to open the kitchen window blinds. We had a daily show available front and back (although binoculars do make a difference). A magical space for animals and quiet.

Whether you want a base to explore the mountains or the wine country, or just a nice quiet place to relax, this is it. Marly even provided the fire wood for the large outside fire pit around comfortable seating. You can walk to the fence and say gooda to her lovely two horses or give the two affectionate dogs a pat. The dogs are not allowed to invade your private space though. The house was truly comfortable, slept like a log in the bed, and very quiet. Aircon in the kitchen / dining lounge area for those warm days and gas central floor heating for those chilly nights. Marly is an exceptional host who will offer any advice, or if not you'll be left alone to enjoy the peace and quiet. We'll definately be back if in the area.

This place is beautiful - wish we had more time than just the one night. Worked perfectly for the short time we had to explore Wilsons Prom. While we were at Sandy Point, the local cafe and store were closed - so bring whatever you need in from the larger towns to the north.
