The Door Room is located in the heart of historic downtown Sturgeon Bay and within walking distance of all the action! It was creatively decorated with "subtle" school-themed touches that just may remind you of a dorm room (minus the ramen and bunk beds!) The place is better in person than the pictures, and the view is breathtaking. The boardwalk is right across the street, which is super helpful for taking furry friends on a walk. Everything we needed was there, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.

very cozy & nice place close to town. 7 of us stayed there, 3 couples and one toddler. we were all very comfortable and enjoyed using the fire pit. We had to source our own firewood, but that's okay. The place was very clean and smelled nice. It had all the amenities that one could ask for. The only negative thing I would say is that it can be tricky to find in the dark and it's one of three houses on the same driveway. (it's the one on the left when you pull in.) there are big flags/banners on the driveway entrance to help you see it from the road. I would stay here again. good place for the price.

Our stay at the Dockside Retreat was absolutely fantastic! The home offered a peaceful stay, with plenty of options for adults and children. We loved the quiet canal and kayaks, neighborhood family walks and cannot say enough about the pool, hot tub and fire pit areas! There was plenty of room for our family to spread out, while enjoying time together in the open floor plan of the main living spaces. Beautifully decorated and clean throughout, with many thoughtful touches. Jenny and Jeff were quick to respond with questions we had, and went above and beyond for all of our time—thank you again!!

Logan’s place is a lovely comfortable house with all basic needs catered for a getaway to Door County & surrounding places. Everything was perfectly in order and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The collection of books for guests was amazing and people can read to their children as well. I give this place 5 stars

Comfortable area to relax at night with my family with plenty of room and nice furniture. Great sleeping spaces and good size bedrooms. Big yard that was designed well for games and outside play, these were also available. We were out adventuring during the day but enjoyed coming home to relax and enjoy the evening.
