Airbnb asks you to write a review in few words. Mine is …….. Bellissimo Bellissimo, Bellissimo. But I can’t stop there. When you open the shutters of this beautiful home and all you can see are mountains, greenery and a church in the village, why would you go anywhere else to get away from it all? To other guests who are thinking about visiting Tuscany and having a taste of living in a small Italian village, with delicious food, walks with scenery to die for, then you cannot go wrong with booking this stunning location. Keith and Aisling make you feel so welcome and insist that it is your home for the time you are staying in this wonderful village in the mountains. Their home has a rustic charm and is spotlessly clean and so cosy. It’s also a great base to explore Lucca, Florence and Pisa. Don’t hesitate. Book it now if you are in need of some R&R and a place to re-charge and relax.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine en famille dans cette maison. La maison est charmante, et la vue est à couper le souffle. Nous avons bien profité des espaces extérieurs. A savoir par contre que la maison est relativement éloignée de la route et des villages à visiter (40-75 minutes de route des villages d’intérêt) mais pour des vacances plus sédentaires, c’est un petit paradis. De plus, notre hôte Mauro a été tout simplement charmant - nous avons apprécié la communication rapide et la flexibilité dans l’heure d’arrivée et de départ.

Wir waren mit unserem Ferienhaus von Stefania sehr zufrieden. Toller, weitläufiger, uneinsehbarer Garten mit vielen Olivenbäumen. Pergola mit Sitzecke lädt zum verweilen ein. Auch die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft war ausgesprochen gut. Die Betten bzw. Matratzen waren sehr bequem und die Schlafzimmer schön eingerichtet. Stefania hat uns mit vielen Tipps und Empfehlungen versorgt. Sie hat für uns auch zweimal einen Tisch in der nahe gelegenen Osteria di Valgiano gebucht. Tolles Essen zu einem günstigen Preis mit tollem Blick über Lucca. Auf Fragen hat Stefania schnell und freundlich reagiert. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben und kommen bestimmt wieder!

L’alloggio di Alessandro è ottimo per chi vuole staccare dal caos della città, si trova in una posizione tranquilla ed immersa nel verde ma comunque vicina ad un sacco di zone di interesse come Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) e così via… è un posto molto strategico, sopratutto se si hanno animali domestici con sè. La nostra bassottina - Focaccia - ha potuto scorrazzare liberamente nell’immenso giardino che si trova davanti all’alloggio - luogo in cui io ed il mio compagno abbiamo deciso ogni sera di far cena godendoci lo splendido tramonto 🌇 L’alloggio è bello, nuovo e dotato di una cucina davvero super rifornita (abbiamo anche potuto far la pizza!). La presenza di un condizionatore inoltre ci ha fatto molto piacere. Sicuramente ci torneremo, lo consigliamo fortemente 🫶🏼 NB Alessandro è stato sempre super disponibile nel rispondere ad ogni mia domanda e nel darmi preziosissimi consigli su cosa vedere/dove mangiare etc. Grazie Alessandro per l’infinita pazienza ?

Daniele is een ontzettend attente en hartelijke gastheer. De tafel was al gedekt voor het eten, er stond een uitgebreid welkomstpakket klaar en ook de badkamer was met oog voor detail klaar gemaakt voor ons verblijf. Ook de tuin is prachtig en tip top verzorgd, bovendien voorzien van prima tuinmeubilair. Daniele woont op hetzelfde perceel maar dat is in het geval van Daniele alleen maar prettig! Hij is heel voorkomend en heeft het huis zodanig ingericht dat je je meteen thuis en vooral welkom voelt. In de omgeving zijn mooie wandelingen te maken en Daniele heeft daarvoor de kaarten in huis liggen. Vanuit het huis loop je binnen 10 minuten naar een erg fijn en lekker restaurant (tip van Daniele) Wij hadden een ontzettend fijn en ontspannen verblijf.

We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

Le logement est un appartement d'une grande maison. Un grande cours permet de jouer dehors. La maison est à distance à pied du centre ville avec une bonne boucherie et boulangerie, un café et 2 restaurants.

Merveilleux séjour à la Casa nonna Diana chez Marco ! L’appartement au 1er étage de la maison familiale est parfaitement fonctionnel, calme, aménagé avec soin et qualité disposant de tout le nécessaire pour se sentir comme chez-soi. Espace cuisine au top, super literie, beaucoup de place et rangements. Le patio et le très grand terrain arboré de fruitiers avec vue sur les montagnes est très agréable. Emplacement idéal pour rayonner sur la Valle del Serchio et randonner entre les Apennin tosco-émilien et les Apuanes. Excellente communication avec Marco, nous recommandons chaleureusement !
