La Casina and the Corbezzolo

La Casina is surrounded by greenery. Ideal place for 2 people who love tranquility. Guests can stay in the adjacent veranda, or move to the lawn in the shade of the strawberry tree and enjoy the fabulous view. The Casina is on two floors: on the ground floor there is a kitchen and bathroom, on the upper floor a bedroom and bathroom. The two levels are connected by an external staircase. The view can also be admired from the comfort of your bed thanks to the large windows overlooking the village and the sea.

No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Built between the 1300 and 1400s, a stone loft overlooking the Adriatic Sea. This building was first used a cannon house and throughout the following years served as a warehouse, a coal pit and an atelier of a renowned local painter.
