We loved our stay. We enjoy the backyard and the campfire. We were able to have a restful weekend. David was a great host.

Lisa was a very good host and responded to my messages in a reasonable amount of time. The house was nicely decorated and spacious for our group (5 people). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The location actually turned out to be better than originally thought for what we wanted to see and do. We were basically 10-15 minutes away from downtown Charlottesville, wineries, and Monticello. We had a great time and plan to come back.

We had a great weekend at the cabin. It was so peaceful and remote, perfect place to get away from it all and unplug. We liked to sit on the big porch and listen to the birds and enjoy the view. We were also able to go fishing in the river and the path was clear of limbs and grass cut. The incline/decline to the river is steep/would be difficult for those with mobility issues but the steps imbedded in the hill were helpful! The cabin was beautiful and clean! Brian has been super responsive and a great host. We got grocery staples at the food lion in Goochland and ventured to elk island winery, licking hole brewery and southern revere brewery which id recommend as well! I definitely excited to return in the future and try out Brian’s other properties!

My family and I stayed here for a Liberty University graduation. Although it’s a bit of a drive it’s a good location, not far from wineries, shopping and affordable etc. Emma is a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodated everything we needed for our littles. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others!

The house was nestled on a very large property. Deer would come in the evenings. The house was spacious and Sarah was a fabulous host.

The Carriage House was great for what my wife and I were looking for when getting away for the weekend. John and Celeste were very communicative up front, and responded quickly to any messages while we were there. We were mostly using the house to check out some of the local wineries and other locations in downtown Charlottesville. It was conveniently located for exploring both, and nice to come back to a clean and comfortable house (and a nice shower!) after a day of walking and sweating in the sun. We only used the kitchen for breakfast (we bought some of the farm fresh eggs which were dropped off ASAP), but it was well equipped for cooking more in depth meals, or making cocktails if we'd felt like doing those at the house instead of going out for them. Overall, a great and relaxing stay, and would definitely stay again if we're back in Charlottesville!

Perfect place to stay for a weekend away and a wedding venue close by!

We needed a place over the weekend for our daughter’s UVA graduation. The house is wonderful and HUGE! We had no difficulty accommodating the 12 people in our party. The winding road from Charlottesville (Rt 53) is a bit of a challenge at night but it’s well worth the trip nevertheless. Alexandra, the host is super responsive and helpful. We loved Bianca’s place, she is so sweet and considerate of her guests! I would definitely recommend & stay again when in Charlottesville! The property & stay was amazing!

Colleen’s place was comfortable and cozy. Let her know our ETA - she was outside when we arrived. She is friendly, kind and gave us some recommendations of things to do. She also has a book filled with menus, etc. Her place was extremely clean! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need for cooking, baking, cocktails! She had snacks and water. Items like coffee, spices, cooking oil were in the cupboard. There were extra toothbrushes, razors, extra towels, tissues, noisemakers, night light! So many extra touches! We only stayed one night, but it was a great experience! We would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you Colleen and Richard!

We had an amazing stay here, we couldn't have asked for anything more! It's in a great location in a quiet neighborhood and is super close to everything. The space was super clean, well stocked with essentials, and looked just like the pictures. I would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

This stay surpassed our expectations. It was very, very clean and welcoming. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was well stocked and there weren't chipped dishes or glassware. There was a nice selection of coffees for the Keurig and two bottles of water in the fridge that we weren't expecting. I can't say enough about the decorations. We thoroughly enjoyed Martha's own photos displayed throughout the apartment - only wish there was a book of captions to enjoy! Highly recommend. We came in for a wedding at Wolf Trap farms and it was an easy drive 3.8 miles away. We had easy parking right Out Front. There was a little coffee/pastry shop across the street that also had cafe sandwiches that we thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent air conditioning! We would come back in a heart beat :-)

Great location close to the arena. Much better than having to drive home 2 hours at midnight. Saw deer and a chipmunk in the yard so that was cool. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Our stay was peaceful and the apartment was close to everything we needed - dining, site seeing, etc. It is a quiet residential area that's tree lined and inviting. Shawn's place is well accommodated, we especially liked the roomy shower (some BnBs lack that simple yet important amenity.) Apartment was as described and pictured. I was a return client as I had stayed a weekend the year before, so that is as positive a recommendation one may need.

We enjoyed our stay at John’s place. It’s in a lovely peaceful neighborhood and John was very friendly and responsive to any question or issue we had. It is a well appointed space and we would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at "The Rosalie"! The place was cozy, spotless, and felt like a true home away from home. The views were absolutely breathtaking — so many stars!! Ellen was incredibly responsive and friendly, always quick to answer any questions and made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

We really enjoyed it! Walking distance to all of downtown, the train was a little loud but not too bad!

Perfect spot for people who plan on bringing their personal boat to Lake Anna. Condo was clean and had all the amenities including prime proximity to the marina, locally owned restaurants and shopping. Would book again in a heartbeat. Had a great time!

Great stay. Isaac was easy to deal with. The place is beautiful and in a great location. We would definitely come back. It needs more hangers and more towels. Next time I will bring an extra set of towels for each bathroom with me. Very easy check out. Very relaxing stay.

Absolutely perfect! I can't say enough about the condo and the host!! The condo was roomy, extremely clean, and had everything we needed and more. Sam went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything we were looking for! We are already looking at reserving our next stay!

We had a great girls weekend at Melissa’s. The property was the perfect size for 4 and was very convenient! Ear plugs and white noise machines really helped with the street noise. Melissa was very responsive and helpful.

We stayed in this condo for a month and found it to be very comfortable. Although in an older, fairly large complex and on the ground level, we found it to be quiet, private, and secure. The kitchen was well stocked, all appliances in good working order, furnishings in good condition, and pleasant decor lending to a homey atmosphere. Condo is in a great location with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. All in all, a good experience. Angelique was immediately responsive to questions/concerns. We would definitely stay there again.
