The ranch house has a red roof in the pictures. My husband & I live in the 3 story. We have a in-ground pool on property (heated from Mid-May to early September), a gas grill, and fire pit on the large scenic patio for your enjoyment. The large windows & patio offer a spectacular view of Wills Mt. The ranch house offers a quiet getaway retreat.

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Gorgeous view overlooking the river! The place was well decorated and we loved listening to the rain on the skylights in the living room. The neighbors were a little closer than expected, but wasn’t really an issue. Power went out one night (area outage), and Alison was responsive and proactive to provide a location of various lamps and lights. We were already using the grill on the incredibly back deck, so we weren’t really inconvenienced by it. I do appreciate the host keeping us updated on power outage.

We loved this place! It was super clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location, right next to the road, is actually super convenient, as you don't have to navigate back roads like you might have to with other places in the area. The stream right outside the backdoor was super relaxing to listen to at night and to eat breakfast next to in the morning on the porch. You can't beat the price, and we're so happy we were able to bring our dog with us. Definitely check out Charlotte's Cafe in Berkeley Springs for breakfast!

It was a great little weekend getaway. Grant was a great host. Easy to find easy to access. He was proactive and letting us know if we needed anything during our stay to please let him know. The bed in the unit is extremely comfortable. I slept like a baby. I love the new concept with all the windows surrounding the bedroom and is a great view when you open your eyes in the morning, very peaceful and tranquil. I took a walk down to the lake and enjoyed all the nature scenery. It would be a great place just to read a book. We would definitely come back again thank you Grant.

The seclusion was absolutely peaceful and beautiful—just what we needed to relax and recharge. The fenced-in yard was perfect for my puppies; they were so happy running around safely and freely. It truly felt like a little slice of paradise for both me, my wife, and my pups. it was very stocked with literally everything. I will definitely be booking again!

We had such a wonderful stay at Hawk’s Nest! It was exactly what we were looking for to have a quiet family getaway. The home was beautiful and the view was stunning. We had a couple of rainy days and it was so cool to watch the storms roll in over the landscape. Debbie and Steve were perfect hosts - they were always quick to respond and super friendly/thoughtful. This gem was everything we were looking for and more! The vintage-decorated home is a perfect retreat-charming, peaceful and full of character. Tucked away on a quiet street right next to a lovely creek, it felt like a true escape while still being super convenient to everything. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of room to entertain friends and family. Bud was kind, responsive, and made the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend- we will absolutely stay again!
