What we most often hear about our summerhouse is that it has a lovely atmosphere, that you feel welcome and at home, and that it is cozy. We strive for the cottage to be personal but also functional, which is why the decor is a good blend of new and old. We bought the summerhouse in 2018, renovate it a bit along the way and as time is the time. What we want is that the summerhouse appears cozy and personal. Our wish is that the house can be the frame to create great memories.

Timberframe house near Marstal Harbour

The house is one of the old and original houses in “skipperbyen” (Skippertown) in the heart of Marstal, build in early 1800’s. The house used to be a bakery (in what is now the kitchen) and a sailmaker once did his magic on the first floor hundred years ago. The house have been restored and brought into the 21st century comforts, while staying true to its history, pedigree and charm.
