We had a great stay – the house was lovely and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. They kindly offered us a later checkout, which gave us a more relaxed morning. The location was ideal for visiting York, with the park and ride nearby making everything super convenient. Thank you for having us (and our energetic kids!) – much appreciated

Fig Tree Cottage was exactly as advertised. Everything was pristine and we felt right at home. Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area.

Just perfect from the minute we arrived until we left. Easy access to other towns nearby. Park n Ride was great to get to York and cheaper than parking £4.25 each return. I left something behind and Pascale very promptly posted it back to me with the receipt so I was able to reimburse her before I emptied my case. Lovely and friendly hosts but not in your face. would highly recommend.

The accommodation was immaculate in every area of the apartment. Everything you needed was included as per the description. Shirley and Nigel were available if we need them and nothing was any bother. The village was peaceful and a walk around the village green about 50 yards away was relaxing after a day wandering around the beautiful countryside, towns and villages. A superb location. It was just perfect for what we wanted. Thank you to Shirley and Nigel, fantastic hosts of the beautiful AirB&B.
