Our apartment house is situated in a quiet location with mountain views in the high valley WERFENWENG/Salzburger Land. The town center and the swimming lake are 1 km away. Restaurants are a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive away. MOUNTAIN RAILWAYS Werfenweng 2 km, OBERTAUERN 49 km, Ski AMADE and Therme AMADE 25 km. Many excursion destinations are nearby. Eisriesenwelt, Hohenwerfen Castle, Eagles Nest and Königsee/Berchtesgaden, Salzburg city 45 km. Hallstatt, Großglockner High Alpine Road can be reached in 1 hour by car.

The vacation home "Strickerl" is located in one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the world, in the Salzkammergut. We are located at an altitude of approx. 880 meters, which makes our guests immediately feel the alpine feeling. With us you have the opportunity to enjoy relaxation & the Austrian idyll. Whether summer or winter, this stylish cottage offers the perfect accommodation for four people on around 50 square meters. It is located on a sunny slope. This rustic retreat is located near the Mölltaler glacier cable car and many destinations for hiking, climbing, skiing/hiking, canoeing and much more. Apartment "Hoamatgfühl"

Our apartment is built in 2016 and we loved it to design the rooms, the equipment and the decoration. It´s based on the ground floor of our house and has an seperate entrance, an extra room for skies/hiking shoes, an extra entrance and a directly conecting to the terasse and the garden. The appartement is fully equipped and the overview to the beautiful mountains around you can enjoy sitting on the couch :) Just try and test the "homy" feeling in our house...

The children-friendly accomodation serves as a perfect starting point for families for various excursions and trips in the MondSeeLand region as well as in Salzkammergut. Since our house is located on a hill at 2.5 km mountain road snow chains are recommended in winter.
