Great views. Great base location for surrounding tourist areas.

The house was filled with the scent of history… Every corner was like a perfect photo opportunity, full of character and charm. every door we opened led to a new surprise, filling us with curiosity and excitement. We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for everything!

Jogeir's hytta is located between Trollstigen and Geiranger. You need to hop on Eidsdal-Linge ferry to cross fjord to reach here, but its very convient, just takes 15 mins and available till late night with good frequency. The surroundings are calm and beautiful and there are lot of good places to visit by car. We were 2 families (4 adults 3 kids) visited by electric cars, hosts was kind to allow us to charge the car. Hosts were very helpful and quickly responding. Place can easily accomodate upto 4 families. Everything you need is available in hytta. Finding the place using google maps was easy and there is enough parking space. I would recommend this place to future visitors. If I ever visit the nearby areas I will rent the place again.

Beautiful and spacious home in a perfect, central location if you're planning to explore Ålesund, Geiranger, Åndalsnes, Trollstigen etc. The kitchen is well stocked with every appliance and utencil you would need. The home did lack blackout curtains, which i found odd for a home in Northern Norway. Still highly recommend!

Great place. Spectacular view of fjord and town. Very comfortable with a very nice kitchen. Overall a very nice place to stay with a fantastic hike out the back door. Highly recommend.

Very nice place to stay. Our host was very nice and helpful. She gave us good instructions and let us know we could contact her anytime if we needed something. The house is very nice, clean and the beds are comfortable. Nice yard with table and chairs. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay here! We felt very well looked after - Per Otto was incredibly welcoming and attentive, replying promptly, meeting us on arrival, and providing great recommendations for our time in Geiranger. The house was pristine, rich in history and the location was great - the view was simply beautiful. Thank you Per Otto for having us! It was a joy staying in this beautifully renovated home. Gorgeous dramatic views of the fjord that can be enjoyed from inside the home as well as from the deck. It is a convenient base to visit Geirangerfjord. Marit was a wonderful host. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay. Short walk into town. Even shorter walk to a beautiful path above the fjord.

Absolutely luxurious cosy cabin, stunning views with very close proximity to the slopes, chairlift and the gondola. Real down pillows and duvets elevated the whole experience at staying at the mountain cabin to a whole new level! We were met in person which created a nice and personal touch and easier check-in and the local produce and coffee which was left for us by the host was much appreciated. Great stay.

Great for Stranda ski area. You can watch the piste bashers from the window by the dinner table at night. Shed for skis outside; no heated boot rack. The bunk beds do rather fill the room but we didn’t need those. Hot shower; everything you need in the kitchen; great location for skiing. Loads of ski touring in this area too. Great stay would recommend.

What an incredible gem, this was hands down our favorite place to stay during our trip in the country. The hosts were so exceptionally gracious, helpful and friendly. The house is immaculately clean, and we felt so welcome! It would be an honor to return if another opportunity arises.

The cabin, the area and the views were absolutely amazing. The cabin was large enough to accommodate 6 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs, and the place had everything we needed. It was also a big plus that both towels and bed linen were available - it made packing much easier. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival. Communication was also very fast. We can definitely recommend this cabin!

Incredibly nice and cozy cabin with modern amenities located close to the center of Stranda, and almost 2 hours drive to Geiranger, Stryn, Ålesund and other nice places to visit. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Merete and Jesper’s beautiful home. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we felt at home right away. You can really tell how much thought and care has gone into making it such a special place. This stay was a real highlight of our trip—we’d love to come back. Fantastic location and very nice hosts. Large and spacious cottage with nice layout, many beds and very homely. The hosts responded very quickly and nicely, and were nice and helpful. We had an absolutely super Easter holiday despite little snow in the valley. Recommended!
