It was a very cool and unique stay with kids. Location is good and surrounding is beautiful. The barn itself is welcoming and warm. The marshmallow and cookie jar was a really nice touch. Aw and the pony ride! It was so cute and our kids had lots of fun on it. And they absolutely love Basil. Me and my husband did find Basil not really interactive with people probably because he’s tired of someone living next door to him all the time. I don’t blame him and it didn’t bother the kids at all. They were still so happy to see him everyday. It will be so much better if there’s an oven and a small freezer. We noticed in the description about the stove not working very well. So we brought some Pizza on the way and realized there was no oven and somehow the microwave’s not working very well with pizza as well… and a little reminder to those who don’t like spiders and little crawling creepies, there are expected. Overall nice place! Xx

A great property in a really quiet location with great views. The barn conversion is large & comfortable and was spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Stephen was responsive and really helpful. I would highly recommend to stay here.

We have stayed here several times and it is probably the best airbandb we have visited. Denise spares nothing in what she provides, bread, milk, eggs, juice. The whole property is beautifully planned and so comfortable to stay in. The garden is a delight, pond, carp and the lovely dogs. The surrounding area has many places of interest, Southwell only one. There are good pubs and tea shops in easy reach. We really hope to return.

We had a lovely time staying on the boat. Sharon was really helpful from start to finish. Everything was set up for our stay and we had a great time. This trip was myself, my brother, and my Dad, so two of us used the bedrooms and one of us slept on the sofa bed in the living room. There were ample blankets, cushions, and pillows for all three beds. The amount of space on the boat was great for us. I think three single people was the right amount for the boat, or four people if they were both couples. We entertained ourselves with food and drink on the picnic bench above the deck, and watching TV below deck. There was a strong WiFi signal and the streaming services on TV worked fine. Being on the Trent meant it was easy to go for a walk. We must have covered 8 miles on Saturday, along the River and into a couple of villages. All in all, we had a great time and would love to stay again on the future.
