The Squirrels Aviemore -4 bed house with hot tub.

PhilipRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The Squirrel's is more than a home-from-home, not just that it is clean, comfortable and has everything you could need, but it add's that special something, and that is being in a peaceful, relaxing spot in the countryside of Aveimore. Sarah really has made the Squirrel's a place you can enjoy coming back to after a long day out - and actually, if you are not into walking or any of the other activities you can do in Aveimore - you can just sit back and relax in this wonderful home. It's only a short walk to all the restaurants and shops you could need, but nicely tucked away that you won't be bothered in the busy season.

Wild Farm Cottage

HarveyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Truly “off grid” in the literal sense! It runs on batteries and a generator!! Despite it not having wifi we all had great 4G so never felt truly disconnected thankfully. It’s such a private place with literally nobody for a square mile or more probably. I would say in the winter you will need a 4x4 to access as it’s a mile down a dirt track! Amazing place and can’t wait to revisit :)

Stittenham House, Alness, Ardross

MelanieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Jane's place is tucked away in a delightful rural paradise, just a thrilling 30-minute drive from Inverness and a mere 10 minutes from Alness, where you’ll discover fantastic grocery stores and delicious dining options. I can’t recommend The Carriage Inn enough—it has outstanding food and the friendliest service around! Our group of five cousins reunited from Italy and the USA, and we were absolutely blown away by the spacious and cozy house. With fantastic amenities like a washer/dryer and dishwasher that worked like a charm, we felt right at home. The immaculate, well-equipped kitchen was perfect for whipping up meals together from scratch, adding a special touch to our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to find their own little slice of peace when needed. But the absolute highlight? The breathtaking views! The rolling green countryside and stunning landscapes surrounding the property made every moment feel magical. This was truly an unforgettable experience!

This was a great spot along the river to unwind after leaving the big city. Amanda’s place felt cozy and welcoming and had every amenity we needed, and more. One of the best stays we’ve had using Airbnb. Her instructions were very thorough and clear so I never needed to ask any questions. Excellent water pressure, comfortable beds, clean kitchen, and great view! Our stay was short but know if we come back this way, we’d book here again.

Louise made this part of our birthday trip to Scotland special by writing us a birthday card and gave us a little gift! It was a very nice touch. We chose this place as it is close to a few of the hikes we wanted to do but it turned out to be a nice albeit quirky place to come back to and it had pretty much everything we needed.

Holiday Cottage in beautiful Speyside

Lyn of Sheval Croft is a piece of heaven on Earth. It was incredibly charming inside and sitting in the dome in the evening watching the sunset was so peaceful. We loved watching the horses roam in the field behind the house. Jennifer was a great host giving us incredibly detailed instructions that made our stay seamless. She also provided fantastic recommendations for in home whiskey tasting by Steve and local in home meal delivery by Mac & Cat. We hope to make it back to Speyside and would absolutely stay here again!

Ruthrie Cottage Aberlour Whisky Trail Morayshire

GillianRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Had a lovely few days staying at the cottage, as we were up in the area revisiting where we used to come for holidays when we were kids. So tranquil, and amazing scenery around the cottage. Fab eating places in Aberlour and everyone was so friendly. A visit to GlenAllachie distillery is a must, the staff in the shop are delightful. Loved the visitor book in the cottage, and we took advice from first entry and took a trip up to Lossiemouth and Spey bay, absolutely out of this world. Great place to stay to visit Aberlour and surrounding areas ❤️

Wee Ness Cottage

PeggyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our stay at Wee Ness Cottage! The flat was surprisingly spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Its location was ideal—tucked away in a peaceful courtyard that offered a quiet retreat, yet just steps away from a grocery store in one direction and the river in the other. A short stroll across the nearby bridge brought us to a lively area filled with fantastic restaurants, charming shops, and plenty to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base. Highly recommend this lovely apartment!

This apartment was outstanding and Hazel has given much attention to detail and nothing has been forgotten. We had everything we needed and more. The place was spotless and had beautiful furnishings and we all got that cosy, relaxed vibe the minute we arrived. Lovely views over the river, and you can catch a glimpse of the sea over the rooftops. A few little extras were provided for my son's 30th birthday which made it even more special. We all had a great time here and can definitely recommend, it will not disappoint. Thankyou.

Cairngorm Apartment Two (close to train stn)

SorinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Short summary: We had a great stay and felt right at home. Everything was just as described. Andrew was very nice and always available. A few observations: Parking was right in front of the place and the area felt safe. There are instructions throughout the house, but most of them are just common sense (at least for us), so they were easy to follow. Regarding the washing machine, avoid using the "delicate" setting as it may leave the clothes too wet. Electricity is paid separately, which is good—you only pay for what you actually consume. The main source of consumption is the heating, while the rest averages around £2–£4 per day. Looking forward to coming back in the future! :)
