A large comfortable living room with log burner and a kitchen stocked with all the food essentials for breakfast including home made bread. The bedroom is spacious and there's a luxury shower room. The village of Pavenham is situated just 6 miles north of Bedford. Surrounded by the beautiful setting of the River Ouse, the village has a magnificent golf club and a pub right in the centre. Just 100 metres from the Old George and Dragon, the COCK does not provide food at the moment, but a great atmosphere. However, 5 minutes drive away is the SUN at Felmersham which does good food. Several places in Bedford deliver takeaways. Ideal for walkers on the John Bunyan Trail.

Had a lovely stay at The Arches. Andy and Jo sent me checking in instructions and even came out to meet us on arrival. They were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Accommodation was exactly as described with all the character we were expecting. There was a lovely woods/field at the back of the building were I could take my dogs for a walk which they/I really enjoyed. A very quaint village that is so peaceful with beautiful houses and very friendly neighbours. I would definitely recommend The Arches for anyone who is looking for a peaceful break which is also within easy reach of pubs, restaurants, shopping and walks.

Perfect location for Santapod Raceway. Great village with several good pubs with excellent food. Apartment was beautifully presented, clean and cosy. Comfy bed with good quality bed linen and the towels were the softest I have ever come across. All in all a fabulous stay and would definitely stay again.

Veronica's property is beautiful and just what I needed after a long day. Lovely touches, like the goodie basket and card made a big difference to make me feel at home. The fold out bed was very comfy and it was so peaceful at night when looking out at the fields. Thanks for having us!
