The perfect setting for peace and relaxation. The cottage is bright and has a good view. Dogs welcome. In a new annex, there are two single beds, but no toilet. Shelter is built into the annex. The whole plot is surrounded by trees and with a lawn, so you can sit outside completely undisturbed. The house is 150 m2 and has 2 bedrooms with double beds, the 1st bedroom has a three-quarter bed and two beds along the wall. Nice bathroom with shower and a washing machine. New kitchen combined with a nice living room and with access to dining area.

Newly renovated large and bright room on 1 floor with fantastic views (and with the possibility of 2 extra beds in addition to double bed) and newly renovated smaller room with vaulted ceilings on the ground floor - also with nice views and double bed. There is also a large living room with the possibility of "cinema" hygge with large canvas, a game of table football or just pure relaxation with a good book. The bathroom is on the ground floor. There is a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

Here you can be at one with nature in and around a small stylishly decorated cottage of 35 sqm. furnished with alcoves and hems. Around the house, there are terraces with a sauna barrel, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen with gas grill and pizza oven, fireplace and shelter. This means that the cottage is just as useful as a "love nest" for a couple who want to enjoy the togetherness in cozy surroundings as for friends who like to be outdoors, perhaps even with outdoor accommodation.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
