Countryside location, quiet environment, 30min from Cork easily accessible by car. Roommate house. The proposed room is spacious and well laid out. Shared bathroom & toilets. We did not meet the hosts but the check-in and check-out directions were very clear and allow you to be self-sufficient.

Patsy was absolutely lovely and she went above ane beyond!! I do not recommended getting a flat tire, but that's what happened to my friend and I nearby and she checked on us and offered help! She was so hospitable and kind! a lovely spot to stay!!

Guest Bedroom in Lavender Lodge, West Cork

FrankRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We spent a few very nice days with Helena and John and felt at home. Helena is a very friendly and sympathetic hostess who spoiled us with all kinds of treats and a great breakfast. Her tips for excursions in the area, which you can also read in a folder she created, were very helpful. The room was very cozy, the bathroom clean and we even had an extra room with two armchairs and a pool table available. The location is very quiet but you can still easily reach all kinds of sights by car. The nearest good restaurants are in Bandon about 10-15 minutes away. Thank you Helena. We will be happy to come back to you when we are in Cork.

I had a great stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and they made it easy to check in. The mini breakfast was a really nice touch, you typically don’t see that.

Perfect stay, just outside of town. Conor was extremely welcoming and was very good at communicating clearly. The room was exactly as I expected and I had very comfortable night’s sleep. I can definitely recommend Wild Orchid and know that you will not be disappointed. Thank you!

Peaceful country life

Self check-in, and check-out, which was great as I was not sure of my arrival time, and was leaving early the following morning. Clear communication from Mary, about everything. Tea making facilities in room, plus access to fridge and microwave in dining room. Perfect place for a peaceful night. Most importantly, my dog was welcome.

The Cottage Tea Room Accommodation Twin Room.

LotteRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a wonderful time staying at Vivienne's B&B. The room was very cosy and clean. Breakfast consisted of a fresh scone and croissant per person, plus an assortment of cereals to choose from. The location was good: Cork is only a 15 min drive and we went to Blarney castle which was a 30 min drive. We found the seperate tea room area with the wood burner an absolute plus, because you have the privacy to relax and warm up nex to the fire after a day out. Vivienne is warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Alfie the dog welcomed us too when we arrived. He is a super cute little critter who is friendly and very well behaved. Overall, we warmly recommend the Cottage Tea Room.
