The ground floor of the property consists of lounge/diner with table that sits 5. There’s an L-shaped sofa that converts into a double bed and 42” LCD. Kitchen consists of microwave, kettle, fridge, single plug in induction ring and toaster and all the essentials you need. The ground floor has underfloor heating so it’s cosy warm. Upstairs is a king size bed, large bedroom, fantastic walk-in shower, smaller sofa bed and area to hang your stuff up. There’s even space for your four legged friend.

The Hen Hut is a warm, self contained annex in the grounds of Casio Cottage on the outskirts of Shilton, a quintessential English village. The medieval town of Burford is within walking distance. Shilton surrounds the Shil Brook and pond. It is mentioned in a document from 1205 as a small farming village. Later, it became a thriving farming community. The local pub, the Rose and Crown dates from the 1600s. The village was featured in the popular television series, Downton Abbey.

Radcot Farm House is situated at the end of a long drive, surrounded by open countryside, arable farmland and uninterruped views of spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The annexe has its own entrance, enclosed private garden and ample parking for two cars outside. The WiFi at the property is slow due to the remoteness however phone signals are good in the area.

Accessed via its own door (mind your head!) a small entrance hall leads into a kitchen area, a shower room and on into a large south facing bedroom with high ceilings and large windows overlooking the front lawn of the main house. Symonds Barn is a spacious converted barn set in the middle of Childrey, a village on the edge of the Ridgeway, only 15 miles from Oxford. Choose between enjoying an escape to the countryside, with delicious meals in one of the many local cafes and pubs and walks through some really beautiful countryside (it’s a 5 minute drive onto the Ridgeway), or take advantage of the nearby shopping and culture in Oxford, Marlborough, Hungerford or Burford.
